The only way I discovered this is because I recently got a scrap one and I was fiddling with it to see what can detach by itself.
Care to share some pics? I have a TFA voyager Starscream as well, and I can't wait to try out the EMP charger thing!
What you need to do is to slide the null rays foward. The "EMP charger" will then deploy. He have this gimmick on both arms.
Once again, after years of owning this toy, I only discovered this feature using a scrap voyager Animated Screamers to build THIS CUSTOM.
Thanks for the pic! Tried it out and he looks absolutely awesome!
BTW, that Pyroflash custom is probably the best re-purposing of a 2007 voyager Starscream toy I've ever seen.
You are an absolute evil genius, Kanrabat! I don't know how you come up with these ideas.

Thanks! Still, the 2007 voyager Movie Starscream mold is easy to customise because the arms and legs are somewhat completely separated from the jet mode, whithout being overly ridiculous like Universe Sliverbolt. Change the arms and legs with anything! The possibilites are endless. Pyroflash is my last custom using this mold. It's also the best and my favorite. Maybe because this time, I chose legs and arms that actually come from planeforemers did help.
Next, I'll do the Brother's mom. **** will be crazy I tell you!

Seriously, it's a real pleasure looking at your work. I never know what to expect. I still remember that custom you did with the doll that transforms into a spider. That one was unique and awesome beyond words.

She will take some time to build, mostly because she will not be based on any precise TF body. I'm still figuring out the specifics and how the hell I will make my ideas work. Still, I'm confident and once the scorching heatwave will end, I'll build her.
She will be horrible and sexy at the same time.

BTW, heatwave? I admit I don't know that much about Canada, but I thought the climate there's pretty chilly.

He's pretty cool, but he can also do something pretty damn amusing.
The instructions tell you to detach the tail during transformation to be used as a gun in robot mode, but you can technically complete the transformation without detaching it. And, if you do leave the tail on, you get something like this:

That is hysterical. It's the pose that really does it for me.

Despite owning probably over a dozen or more different versions of the Masterpiece Starscream / Seeker mold, I just discovered after 8 years that there is a tab in the upper wing that plugs into his upper backside shoulder area. Doh! I can't tell you how many times I've had to transform these guys over the last 8 years for their own galleries and then again for comparison shots. I can't believe I never noticed that. I only accidentally discovered it somehow on Hasbro's new Sunstorm and thought "wow, that was nice of them to modify the mold to do that." and then I realized that all of them have that. Problem solved with wings flopping backwards on the Masterpiece Seekers!
