Perceptor's one of my priorities though. Which is a shame because I've heard he's kind of meh, but as a character I do like him quite a bit.

Meh? He's the most solid QC out of all my TR figures, all his modes hold together well, his accessories have options, his head is nothing but Perceptor, and he even has optional larger heels if you need him to hold something large. If that's what people mean by, "meh", then yes, he is the most meh TR figure out there. (Personally I prefer Topspin but he has some pretty terrible QC and looks bad from any angle but the front.

Universe Blackarachnia's spark crystal is the Dinobot one
i took it apart at the two screws to find out if it is a full recolor and still had the maximal logo spark crystal or not

Spark Crystals from the Beast era were seemingly randomized with each redeco. Here are some of the more notable ones:

- Universe 2003 Razorclaw, the black Tigerhawk redeco, has a Beast Machines Maximal one. Strangely very fitting.
- Telemocha Archadis has a Beast Machines Dinobot Crystal, seemingly from the run of his redeco Airraptor.
- Universe 2003 Blastcharge has none

ok, I don't know how much this is a thing that no one noticed so far.
the talons behind Trypticon's feet are actually ports for the base modes.
Basically, you can connect 4 bases to Trypticon in city mode.

They're working fine.
Maybe they're a little loose, but they're able to keep any pose I've tried so far.

My Topspin seems pretty good, but Perceptor, particularly his legs, eww loosy goosy. Maybe I should try some floor polish, but he's nto even close to solid.

On top of that, trying to put other heads on him usually fails bad, that bar his scope hole connects to blocks pretty much all I've tried but his own. I'm very pleasantly to see at least one other fits.

I don't know if this counts, but here's a flying mode I invented for TR Chromedome. It reminds me of when Tracks can fly. You can also try putting the wing down to allow Stylor a place to sit and put Chromedome's weapons by one or both of his sides. If it catches on, maybe they can use it for cartoons or comic books. If Seibertron wants to program the system to let me keep Vehicon for 5 billion more posts, that would be nice. I'm talking to the actual owner of the site.

I think the instructions tell you to do that. I've always had them like that in truck ode. Though I angle them back slightly. Look a little better and less tacked on to me.

Huh. Maybe I'm wrong. But yeah, it is a great way to have the guns in truck mode.

The gas canisters on DOTM voyager prime are attached with 5mm diameter balljoints. They are easily removed and even have small barrel size on them. It increases articulation in the arms, helps with balance, and they even color match the main gun, which also happens to have two 5"" ports on the side that canister guns can plug into.

EDIT: Almost forgot, they can be holstered on his legs via the vehicle mode tabs, and even drawn due to the arm articulation.

On Titans Return Trypticon, the purple barrels on his towers/cannons can be extended out. This adds several inches on to each tower.
