I ain't complaining since some of the designs aren't awful, but there's a strange little resurgence among 3P companies recently to make Dreamwave designs. You've got this, MAAS Toys' Skiff, that one company that done a toy based on the awful War Within Megatron design... once again, not complaining, just odd.

That TR Overlord upgrade kit. Really? What's the point? They replaced 75% of the figure. Why not remake the whole damn thing while they're at it?

Seriously, I don't mind upgrade kits that add new fists, heads, or weapons. But when they cover up most of the figure or almost replace it entirely, I find them ridiculous.

When I buy an official TF, it's not to hide it for fox's sake. Those upgrade kits creators should go the Wei Jiang route and make a full KO with all the improvements. The main reason would be to not force people to buy the official figure if they plan to replace most of it anyway. Sure, the thing would be more expensive but I'm sure it would be less than the kit plus the official figure. Those official toys are expensive enough already.

so I was asking Kapow Toys when they were going to get KFCToys EAVI Metal Phase Stratotanker in for preorder & this is the response that I got

that's pish man!!! :-x

how is someone supposed to get items like this from an online company in the UK if they don't bother to stock them in the first place? + I bet they've had other items from KFCToys in before!

And that might be why they no longer carry them. I remember reading about QC issues. I have X-Transbot's Huffer, I believe, and yes, it had horrible QC issues, even though it looked quite good. I'm not sure that I'd buy anything from either company at this point...

Mech Ideas did Huffer and Pipes a while back. There apparently wasn't a huge response (although I bought three sets myself), so they didn't continue with their "Techno Toon Titans" series. Too bad. Hopefully this A Plus Toys effort will do better.

Not sure how many people here is interested, but apparently wei jiang is planning to complete the original headmasters for their OSKO titans return line. These are taken from sunson son's fb page, a pic of wei jiang catalog page. Oh, and there's OSKO RID megatronus too.

Not sure if anyone has seen these (even the dino combiner one puts Volcanus to shame in combined mode, but then and again nearly anything does

Really don't like the looks of the connection pegs, especially for the seer size of the limbs being attached.
Always wanted classics Megatron to be a nerf gun so this fill that niche for me.
