Is the door warped?

Stuartmaximus wrote:Yay... reprolabels are up for Trypticon on Toyhax, I've ordered mine
&...YES! as well as the ones for Full Tilt
(dunno why you have to pay for those separately though you'd've thought that they could've just added those in with the Trypticon ones, without having to pay extra)

Well, mine was so warped that the top right side of the door was secured about a quarter inch before the top left. If one side hits before the other, it may be warped. In my case, I carefully heated the plastic with a hair dryer and gently flattened it on the counter. It secures nicely now.
With the door warped, it may put stress on one of the tabs holding the door in, causing it to pop out and thereby making it less secure.

Oh Agamemnon, you truly are worthy of Helen of Troy! That was exactly what I wanted to know and yes this means mine is warped. Will try this trick out once I am out of the hospital and find some time (just got a baby boy).

All you have to do is dedicate a huge work table with good lighting, and 5ish hours of uninterrupted time to it. Can't be that hard

And finding that time is the hard thing...
Agamemnon wrote: Well, I'll be... Congrats to you and the new mother!! All my best and I hope everything is happy and healthy!!
Also, I feel your pain on lack of sleep for the next 18 or so years. (Mine are 13 and 11.) And, indeed, let us know if you can fix Trypt's chest door. But only after you take care of boy and mommy!!
Seriously, this was the most awesome, and unexpected news I have read in a long time. *high five*

Happiness and Health to you both and your baby Seibertronian WJ!
So I'll be picking up Trypticon at my TRU this Tuesday and I was wondering is there something I can look out for to tell if mine is one of the good ones?
If there's nothing I'm really tempted on returning it and hoping for the best with .
