I think dry rub is amazing if it's done right. In the South, where I live in Georgia, dry rub is more common and popular.

I'm Not grabbing a hold of anythig on you, man. I swing in one direction only.
I prefer rubs over BBQ sauces. Most of the time, the sauce is overly spicey and I end up needing to mouth breathe for an hour. But if it's my own citrus-bourbon sauce, then I'm all over that.
