21 pounds... No joke, the pizza place I'm working for right now has a pizza called "the big one" that uses 40 pounds of dough. If you ask for pepperoni on it, you get over a pound of it. I've yet to be present when one is made, which is very very rarely, but I intend to get one. I love a good pizza challenge.. as long as anchovies and pickles aren't involved

So I took the 23rd, 24th, and 25th off from work; the 23rd we had my mother's family over for the big get-together, and my parents even heard from my brother in the Air Force, who was in Hawaii dealing with munsoons and other Air Force stuff.
So about 8pm, the front door bell rings, and the whole family just stops. I mean, who unexpectedly rings a rings a doorbell at 8pm on Christmas weekend? My dad said maybe it's FedEx or UPS, which coukd happen, but generally the latest we get a delivery is 4pm. I expected to open the door and have some guy telling me he hit our mailbox. Instead, I open the door and in walks my Air Force brother! No one knew he was coming over at all, even my parents who were literally in the next room having a phone conversation with him even as he walked through the door.
So I ended up taking an extra day off from work to hang with the fam. So that, my friends, was an awesome Christmas. I hope yours were all also merry and bright!

Seriously, it's nice to read stories like this. I've known a lot of people in the military and have seen the strain things like this can have on their families. I imagine just seeing him show up at the door like that (especially after the phone call) must have been something inconceivable!
