Pretty sweet figure. Too bad i won't get him due to being too white, and too small for Thunderwing.

As a collector of mainly the jets, I still not sure I want him. The colors are far too meh, and the nose is hideous. I will stick to the seekers and other jet molds, unless I run across him on sale at walmart, lol.

I wonder if this will ever get remolded as Black Shadow?

Reminds me of a Pretender. Oh, wait, he is a Pretender. Looking forward to him.

Not that bad but not that good either. Perfect for one of the generic Decepticons in a seeker army. ill buy him.

(and I know he is technically not a "seeker" but could be part of a team like G1 Slugslinger, Triggerhappy, and Misfire which in my mind was always a new wave seeker team when the toys originally came out)

Bot mode looks great... like he jumped straight out of the comics! Can't wait.

Can't believe we've gotten a Straxus, Hailstorm/Mindset, Thrust, Dirge & Blurr... and soon, there'll be a Thunderwing, Kup, Jazz, Wheeljack, Windcharger, Wreck-Gar, Skullgrin, Perceptor, Reflector, Tracks, Grapple, Rumble/Frenzy, Scourge, etc etc. We're inching closer & closer to completing a Classics G1 show cast, with various fan-favorite TF comics characters to boot. It's a great time to be a TF fan!

But no really, its not bad, just makes it look too 'toy'ish with that tone of white. But I'm pretty picky.

Nah, far, faaar too much jet kibble to look like his agile comic self. I'm just wondering if it can be removed without harming the robot form itself too much like removing the 'wings' off a Classics Megatron. Also would definitely want to paint the white areas a darker gray or off blue. The white is too bright.

But movie Bludgeon is superb. And a decent sized figure for an important character or leader. I wish Thunderwing was as big. Deluxe size is just too small for imposing characters like these. Is why I was never convinced of Classics Grimlock (apart from the fact the robot mode was just plain crap) and again with Galvatron.

The problem i had with Bludgeon was really thin joints compared to what a tough Tank Robot should have, as well as the face, seemed too far from a skull with a samurai lookin helmet... this was more like... cowboy ghost. But yea, Thunderwing shoulda been bigger for sure.

Doesn't that take away the fact that it's a Transformer? I dunno, I guess I'm not an action figure collector

Does anyone reckon they could possibly get a Dai Atlas out of this mould? With a new head, some resculpting and a little drill-tank drone that stuck out the front of his plane mode? Hell, I just want a new Dai Atlas...

The colour scheme's maybe a bit too similar to justify the extensive remould, I reckon. Now an Energon Galvatron could be fun, billed as Cybertronian Galvatron or something to distinguish from the Universe toy. Then again, I'd still rather have a Galvatron from the WFC Megatron mould, methinks

I just ordered this figure from amazon and I am freaking excited! This guy looks amazing! I was a huge stormbringer fan, so I will make an add on kit that will give him his stormbringer look. I will post pictures of him once I'm done here on Seibertron.com.

Have we heard or seen nothing of a United Thunderwing yet? I'm getting really itchy to open the Generations one.

Open it. Chances are he will be either not released, or released as Black Shadow, his Victory remold, as the G1 Thunderwing toy didn't make it in Japan otherwise.

good point about him not having had a Japanese release originally. However, I don't think they got a G1 Straxus (and can't imagine weekly British comics had a huge following there) either, so who can tell with those crazy TakaraTomy blokes?
