Although an issue. It fixes, and tightens the chest assembly. I can raise both arms, and even tug on them and it won't come loose
After consulting one of our resident MP aficionados, I think I have discovered another puzzle piece that is relatively unknown. Or maybe I'm the only one who didn't notice.![]()
It's certainly not in the instructions.
In the back, if you lift up the panel and the nose cone you'll see a tab on the torso slider. On the bottom of the the cock pit seat is a slot meant to receive that tab.
Tab received!![]()
It totally helps keep him from sliding apart. Tried it on Sunstorm too. Works wonders for him. He is super loosey and all kinds of goosey!
Was this in the Takara instructions?
And, can somebody tell me what that extra little grey clip is for? The round one with the 5 mil peg.

I was a little surprised to see the price for Starscream is under $70... Figured it would've been closer to $90.
I wasn't planning on getting any MP's past Soundwave, but if I see him at my local TrU for $60, I may bite.
As long as it is truly worth it.
I'm heavily considering getting this and Apollyon to join my MP Soundwave.
Any advice is appreciated.

From what I have read and seen, it seems this issue of Starscream is around the same quality as Takara's MP 11 with the only problem being some mold flash. But the plastic is as good. Also, the cars that were issues as well as the Optimus figure are all of the exact same quality as the takara issues. Grimlock However, was a less tight than Takara's version around the waist.

Well, as long as you're right (which I don't really question), I'll be hunting this down...
I'd say this will be worth the cost of 4 CW deluxe figures.

Cobotron wrote:I gotta say, I really see no probs with the quality of this figure. I don't have a Takara Seeker, but I do have a bunch of other Takara MPs and Starscream is on par with those. You can't go wrong with this release at 60 bucks. I do see an improvement in quality over Sunstorm.
Does anyone remember If Thundercracker was well received, or had QC issues?

Its only fair. Canadians cant get stuff from your retailers either and buying from Amazon.com is always a pain in the a$$. A Japanese seller will ship free to a US adress but NOT to a Canadian one, WTF?! And HTS wont ship all items to canada and they dont allow us to use the discounts they give to americans. We had Target but they never implemented online selling to canadians and then they just straight up left. So please, let us at least have this: this and Walmart.ca are literally all we have for buying TFs at retail price.
I mean, its not like this is new, none of us can buy toys from Amazon japan either. Each country has its own retailer divisions. If you want an open area where you can buy everything from anywhere, you have e-bay.

Yeah I know. I was just told somewhere though that there was a method of getting stuff from toysrus.ca from the U.S., but obviously that person was wrong.$100.00 was just such a great price man ****!

100$ for what? YOTH Prime? He's not available for shipping anyway.
But that pe(r)son wasn(')t wrong though. There is a way to get a product from tru.ca. You can have them ship to a place that will either ship it to you or allow you to pick it up. I dont know any off the top of my head but you can ask around if you need to. They will request an extra fee from you of course so it might not be worthwhile. Up to you.

I have a feeling we all do. We are collectors, we will get what we want one way or another, no matter how long it takes.
