Here's
Toyworld Areolite TW-FS06T, A.K.A The Last Knight WWI Thundercracker! The seekers never appeared in that movie but that will not stop Toyworld in making them. And oh boy, what a work of ART!
This World War 1 triplane is very accurate to the real thing, meaning a Fokker Dr.l.
It come with a metal stand for the plane that is in two parts that you assemble. Brand new, you shake the box and you hear some worrying "kitchenware" metallic rattle. No worries, that's just the stand. The thing is damn solid and hold the plane very well.
From under, there's a bit of robot junk, but it's only as molded details as opposed to entire limbs compared to many other bots.
Transformation was WAY more simple than I thought. Only some joints were a bit too tight so I had a few cold sweats thinking I might bend a thing wrong and break it. The resulting bot is the basically the same design as the regular Bay Movie Starscream. Pretty damn impressive!
EDIT: Forgot to fold up the two shoulder panels in bot mode.Pretty clean back too!
You have the options between the "Starscream" head or the "Blitzwing" head. I went with the "Blitzwing" one to differentiate it from Starscream.
The big gun obviously cannot work with the plane and the stand unfortunately doesn't work with the bot. But at least the big gun kinda sorta work with the stand.
Joints are tight and he can take decent poses despite being a bit limited.
Despite having diecast metal parts in him, WW1-TC he's only 5 grams heavier than the regular SS Starscream. Normal because that 3P figure is less massive and have less plastics than the regular Studio Series Starscream.
Overall, this is a very impressive piece in my collection that deserves the honor spot!
