Kind of a waste in effort. Design wise okay but his faux grill and those things under the windshield/chest, unnecessary detail.

Truck mode looks boss in an isometric angle but the image looks more like a non-transforming mock up so too early to tell.

The not Rodimus MP Carry seemed necessary because of the scraptacular MP-09 but MP-10 is almost near perfection 2nd to MP-01 so why bother?

Also, this style seems to borrow again from the Studio Ox design with the front wheels folding to his butt like MP IH. The route taken by Takara is a waaaaaaay cooler method.

It just seems like it's too late in the game for something like this. Their energy would have been better spent on sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many other things.

Like I said, kind of a wasted effort in R and D as both MP-01 and MP-10 are nothing to sneeze at.

MP-09 really deserves the 3rd party version with Carry (another Studio OX inspired design) but this..........yeah. Sort of like when TT released Devs. It kind'a took the wind of the sails for the other 3rd party Devs. Same with the Maketoys uber expensive not Metroplex. Once you had the cheaper Titan version, especially the TT release, it removes the incentive to get them.

Only 3rd party looker that gets me attention is the new not Leo-kaiser/Breastforce set.

Yeah, it looks good, and if you want to make an MP OP for yourself that's fine, but I look at the list of MPs that aren't being made by anyone and I think, "Where my Jazz at?"

There's supposed to be a 3rd party Meister scheduled for release. ETA?

Exactly: TnR Hova. Where he at?

(And, moreover, if this one's stalling its arrival, why aren't the other companies making one? We got two different Sunstreakers; how come nobody's tackling the other missing Season 1 bots?)

I actually kinda dig this. The truck mode is just gorgeous, and the robot mode looks nice too. It had better have a trailer though.

Still, I would have thought it would make more sense to fill a void that Takara themselves aren't willing to fill yet- say, Laser Optimus Prime or something like that.

Yeah, an MP Laser Prime would at least be something we haven't yet seen.
