Why the painted windows? It would have looked better with clear Translucent windows. Wonder if they'll make a clear windows version?
TW-03 looks like a 3rd party Rescuebots Bumblebee toy. The painted windows, huge Clown feet & buff parts are a turn off.
It looks like DW Pat Lee designed this TW-03 Bumblebee toy. As Pat Lee loved to draw his TF characters all puffy, buff & with oversized parts.
Creating 3rd party bumblebee toys seems wasteful. Since Hasbro has already oversaturated the toy market with this character.
TW-03 looks so inferior,to other toys TW has created.
No thanks,I'll be buying Hasbro's MP Bumblebee instead.

IF the windows are translucent, it will be a bit fragile as they are involved in the transformation and the frames are small. also, all the robot parts inside will be visible. basically, you can have a clear look at BII's knees

Wow! They managed to keep this one on the down low, bet that was to stop Hasbro putting the kibosh on their plans, much like FansToys Accoustic Wave was halted because of the Takara/Hasbro MP Soundwave that was already in the works.
Im sure if Toyworld Bii and Hasbro Classics Bumblebee where teased together right now, without knowledge of each company behind them, TW Bii would be the winner right there!
All the talk of MP Bumblebee seems a little out of place here as this figure is available now but we wont see MP BB for at least a year?
Add to that this has been painted as an 'anime' version which sets it so far apart from any Has/Tak MP version.
This Bii will sit nicely in most folks collection as the definitive Classics Bumblebee, kicking the old Hasbro mold into their storage boxes!
Well done Toyworld!

Probably because TW didn't want the online bashing frenzy to starts months ago. This early bashing would have lowered Pre-orders from sites.
When something is good, companies usually advertise it early. When something is bad,Companies wait to the very last minute to advertise it.

Says who? I think TW-03 looks like a undersculpted cartoony rescuebots 3rd party toy.
While I dislike both 1.0 deluxe bumblebee & TW-03. I think 1.0 BB looks better as it has better proportions, clear windows & a sleeker look.
TW-03 is drastically undersculpted in robot mode. while TW-03 vehicle mode looks like it was designed for Two year olds to play with.

I'm willing to wait a year to buy the Hasbro MP BB toy. Because I know HasTak will do clear windows, higher sculpt & it will look like it's meant for collectors.

You are, like all of us who frequent the many Transformers fan-site forums, entitled to your opinion which you made clear earlier.
To later break down my particular post and hate upon Toyworld, despite claiming you dont like either figure makes me think perhaps you need a strong coffee or a nice back rub?

btw, where do people get the idea of comparing this to MP BB that's coming? Did i miss anything or TW never release any MP-line figs?

I want to see more reviews & comparisons.
I still dislike the backpack and he is a little taller than Classics Bee.
But this fig fixes 2 issues I have with Artfeather, the high "collar" and I prefer how the front wheels fold under.
Price isn't bad, I could possibly see swapping out Artfeather for this guy.
Classics Magnus/Skywarp 2 pack MIB
Classics Devastator MIP
HA Sideswipe K-Mart exclusive color Loose
Currently looking for:
ROTF Target exclusive Sideswipe from the 2-pack
TFCC Punch/Counterpunch
Alternity Primes, silver & white versions
(opened is OK, to be used for customs)
PM If interested

It's a non-comparison - people (I'm speaking mainly for myself, here) know an MP 'Bee is coming, and given the direction the MP line has been taking, we expect it to be the definitive version of this character. For folks like me, it's worth the wait to see what HasTak teases before jumping all over TW's offering.
The more I see TW-03 Bii, the more I like it. But I feel I'd be doing myself a disservice not to be patient.

I would ABSOLUTELY replace RTS Bee in a heartbeat, but I happened to have Henkei Bee already on the shelf.
I'll say this to people: watch the video review! I feel more enticed in picking it up just by seeing the transformation sequence and how smart it looks.
Visually, I wish Bii didn't have the blue painted windows; otherwise it takes a few other issues people didn't like and improved: no more arm/door kibble, minimizes the "backpack", and removes the shin guards of the Classics/Henkei mold.
I think pricing and availability will be a huge factor in my purchase. I can empathize with those who are saying "don't want this when MP Bee is on the horizon". Sure, they aren't meant for the same display, but it's a good assumption that the Takara release will look better and probably cost about the same amount. I don't think we'll see MP Bee released until late 2014 (if the August date for MP Wheeljack sticks), so if TW's version comes out by March, that'll be at least 6 months to save up and not feel like you're double dipping.
Still think the spot should've been another character, but I'm warming up to it.

The Price from USA based import sites will probably be a bit more. Chimugmung is often able to charge less because they live closer to the factories.
Oten times any savings from these overseas import sites even out to USA based import site prices. due to paying those overseas shipping prices.
