.flv is the Flash Video style. I'd suggest using MediaCoder to turn it into something readable. It's completely free and fairly straight forward to use.

The images of his toy from before were all mistransformed in robot mode. He's supposed to be on one wheel, not two.

i don't think it was mistransformed i think he can choose whether he's on one wheel or 2 e.g he might use 1 wheel to go faster .

Nice one Mkall .. I'll post again when Ive got a copy downloaded and converted.

-EDIT- ..done!! Thanks again Mkall.. that took so little time to do I wasnt sure if it even worked!.. I've got it in MP4 format now.. quality isnt much to write home about though :\ might have a tinker around see if I cant get it abit clearer.

Downside of all of this is that IMAX theaters aren't equipped with seatbelts or individual hand rails for the chairs. We're gonna need 'em because this movie is about to redefine Asskicking!

I also support the theory that the constructicon smashing down the chopper is the same as the one shown by the end of the trailer. He's moving around his tracks as part of the transformation process and they seem to rearrange into wheels, one as a monocycle and the other one sits in his back (just like the guy that took the Hasbro tour a few months ago said.)
Also... my vote on Megatron pinning down Sam. You see his legs -tracks as knees and all.- The left leg at the back (bouncing due to movement), and the right leg close to the camera, near the left section of the take. Sam's between his legs. And yes, he's definately rusty. I LOVE this teaser!

This looks awesome! I loved the first film but this looks like it has jumped up five or six gears! Can't wait now!

I have to remind people who didn't like the first film who are now seeing this as a return to form... Not necessarily; this sure has a load of awesome scenes shown, but it could still have "stupid human character" scenes in it. After all, the Pretender was nowhere to be seen...

Also, Megatron is still debatable in my mind; remember the rumour he was only in a dream sequence? Sam being pinned to the car, Optimus Prime's face being smashed in, could both be in this dream.

As for the trailer, the Constructicon looks AWESOME. My bet stays that the R8 is Barricade and fantastic seeing more of Starscream!

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I was just thinking that the fleet of ships that are attacked at the start of the trailer might be the ships dropping the Decepticon bodies into the ocean. The descending 'comets' might be other Cons coming down to retrieve their leader's body!

Yeah, I think that the fleet being attacked may be the same ones that dropped the cons in the whatcha-ma-call-it trench. Mind you, it's not usual for a sequel to be set right at the end of the first one. (Well, except for the Lord of the Rings trilogy I guess...) Who knows?

I don't think it those are the same ships that are at the end of the 1st movie... Starscream was just leaving Earth to go get reinforcements when Megatron was getting dumped.

Hmmm true, but the ships could be returning from the dump site and the cons could be attacking the fleet to locate the where abouts of the bodies of the others-like using the lil con thingy again to tap into their computers again cue ravage!!!......or not thats already been done I guess doh!

Just watched the trailer on my Samsung 52" LCD & it looked ridiculously sick. I'm so glad I have it on my DVR. Can't wait until we get a little more in a few weeks.

I don't think it's an attack. It looks more like 3 protoform 'comets' crashing down, which is why i think it's either 3 seekers, or 2 seekers and Tidal Wave, or quite possibly one could be that naval ship prototype toy we've seen before.

Bay doesn't like "Mass Shifting" so I guess the protoform for the Constructicon must have made a huge impact. The protoforms crashing on the aircraft carrier were to small to be one of the ships, so my guess is more seekers....


....unless Bay changed his mind about "Mass Shifting"

I just...wow. This movie is going to be one non-stop battle. It's full scale war...plain and simple. We're about to see action movies redefined and kicked up to a size and level that's never been imagined. I'm wondering if this is going to be along the lines of Empire Strikes Back, which was a very dark movie in which the Rebels and the heroes get punished, beat, and just all around slapped around. In the third movie, the Rebels obviously rebounded...but I wonder if this is what's going to happen here: a dark middle leading to a third, more optimistic and possibly decisive movie. I dare say, with Devastator being as large as he is...could we see Omega Supreme eventually? Or even the Dinobots? It could be a way to introduce the Dinos...as the only things large enough to successfuly fight the 'Con-biner (new word!).

I honestly don't know what excited me more: the spot or the Super Bowl itself...what a game!

I have a feeling there won't be any cover ups in this movie. Not when they're taking out overpasses like they were sandcastles.

It's fairly obvious it's Megatron. I'm 99% positive. For one thing, the hands match the producion designs we've seen already almost exactly. They match every drawing we've seen of "tank" Megatron so far. Secondly, the treads are definately there. And the most obvious thing of all, Starscream only has 3 fingers! That hand has 4! It's Megatron.

The Transformers: ROTF Superbowl Spot now in GLORIOUS QUICKTIME... (in 1080p, I might add)
