Oh man, I can tell right now that Shia's finger cast is going to bother the hell out of me. It even looks hilarious when Megatron is holding him down. Why couldn't they just give him a whole arm cast to hide it? At least he'd look more macho.

Anyway, my stance on what is going on is that the person holding him down is Megatron. Starscream is there helping, but not actually holding him. It's clever trailer cutting. The treads say it all, besides I don't think Starscream has fingers like that.

I love Optimus getting punched in the face, but I hope it's not a way for Michael Bay to get rid of the mouth plate completely now. I could see that happening.

And lasty, I love all ALL the information that was supposed to be fake is actually true. Literally everything. Have any rumors been disproved so far? Didn't they say that steam shovel toy was NOT actually part of Devastator?

Awsome. I am really looking forward to the real trailer on a couple of weeks. Look behind the bot who breaks through the wall (Barricade). You will see three small Frenzy sized bots jump out after him.

It's looks much more like Barricade/Audi R8 than Sideswipe. Look at the bot mode. It looks too menacing/bulky to be Sidswipe.

I watched it a couple of times, it's definatly Sideswipe. You can see the characteristic Corvette ridges above the front wheel well.

EDIT: You're right it is the Audi.

if u look close on one scene u see soldiers attacking what looks to be another constructicon but not as big as the one at the end, its got big ass wheels tho so still gonna be big!

Any Ideas on who the autobot who jumped on him was.

IMHO the big bot kiling the helicopter around the 8 second mark looks the same as the one OP is fighting at the end. And Ravage looks cool apart from being a cyclops!

Hey Guys,

I made a Quicktime file of the trailer and went through it frame-by-frame (unfortunately, I wasn't able to make an HD version of the trailer 'cause my graphics card is outdated).

Here are some interesting things I noticed:

1. 12 seconds in: The Audi R8 that comes crashing out of the wall appears to be a different Decepticon than Barricade, unless Barricade has been heavily reformatted. The most interesting thing about this shot is that you can see a robot in the background pursuing the Audi as it races towards us (possibly 2 robots). The pursuing robot(s) can be seen jumping through the smoke in the background starting at 15 seconds in.

2. 18 seconds in: The hand that 'traps' Sam definitely belongs to Megatron. The legs and feet in the background match up perfectly with the leaked concept art we've seen of the reformatted tank-mode Megatron.

Other things I'm not sure about: At 17 seconds in, it almost looks like Starscream might be missing an arm. I say 'might be' with great caution, 'cause it's hard to tell by the angle. Also, the Constructicon that smacks the helicopter down at 8 seconds in is definitely the same bot at the end of the teaser, but it may be Devastator in a more advanced stage of transformation (hence why some forum members have mistakenly thought it was a different bot altogether).

I tried uploading some screen captures I made from the Quicktime file, but it wouldn't work. Maybe someone better equipt can make some screen captures from the HD version and post 'em for the boards?

I'm still not sure why Megatron would reformat into an Earth vehicle since he's a bit of an arrogant twat, but I'm still going with the hand that pins Sam down being his as well as the one who smashes Prime's faceplate off. Megs sure must be poopy with all that rust...
