I want to s way to say it was from the late 80's or early 90's

I know it was not a TF
Appears to fit more in with robotech/macross but i'm unsure
was an olive green color all over with maybe hints of grey
turned into a jet-like figure
robot mode was large~the size of pm prime
heady was cyclops-esque
came with a "pilot"

sorry thats all i remeber...anyideas?

actully it looked exactly like that only a more subdued green, could almost be considered beige...
what figure is that pictured?

If i had pictures i would post them, however the robot in question is no longer in my posession. It was sold off with majority of the transformers and other mecha from my childhood a couple years ago.

That's a Robotech Alpha Fighter. Not sure which one you mean, maybe someone else could be more helpful.

robotech alpha fighter, originally called legioss from gakken(sp?). it came in red, blue, and green.

it also had a tiny pilot inside.

different scale versions of the toy-

of the three, only the first-type comes with the pilot. all came in red, blue, and green.

yeah, if you like things that break right out of the box. To answer this question, it is sort of a robotech fighter, flown by lancer. The true origin of it however is that it is an Alpha fighter from the 80's anime Genesis climber Mospeada. Mospeada along with southern cross was purchased by harmony gold (who purchased and brought Macross aka Robotech to the US)and mashed into the Robotech series. In reality, the three series had NOTHING to do with each other. HG just decided to make more money by mashing three separate anime series into one.

Yeah, those Toynami Masterpiece figures were atrocious. Nice boxes though.

serious? :( i thought those guys were great. they were based directly off the old imai (or was it arai?) kit. and mine didn't crumble out of the box either, lol. i must be lucky with my purchases (knocks on wood), cuz my bernard rox. :)

it's said toynami might be releasing the tread (beta fighter). it's the second robot that attaches to the back of the legioss (alpha fighter). that'd own mega face.
