My 4 year old daughter wants a transformer. I bought Movie Arcee but i think it may be too complex for her. She specifically stated that she wanted a "pink dinobot". Purple T-Rex Megatron is too much of a headache....lol.

Are there others? Namely PINK ones? Any suitable for a 4 year old?

You'd be suprised at what a 4 year old can do. At that age, I was fully capable of transforming the tougher G1 toys like Megatron & Omega Supreme so get her the pink dino she wants. And don't let the fact that she's a girl limit what you get her. My neice is more into TFs than my nephew ever was!

yeah, unless she still puts things in her mouth, i'd say arcee should be perfect, actually. take the energon 'weapons' off the set if that makes you nervous... (i was that age when the original g1's were out and my mom didn't let me have the weapon parts but the robots are mostly just fine without 'em.)

zodconvoy, not everyone has the aptitude for transformers as you do. My younger brother, who's about 16 now, can't transform anything without breaking a part of it. As for transformers aimed at little kids, the best way to go is the fast action battler series, though I don't know if they have a pink one, but at least they're sturdy.

You could also go back and try to get some figures from e-bay from the Cybertron line. Or heck, pick up some clearanced Classics--basically, go for a line with ball-jointed figures. Then, if one "breaks", it just snaps back together... Those are the ones I let my kids play with. Go back and take a look at Energon Arcee--she's got pink.

I think the Playschool/Hasbro Go-Bot/Transformers line would have been a perfect toy for young kids. It has bright colors, it's EZ to transform and it's pretty durable. You might even find one in pink. Altho I don't think they're in retail stores anymore, only on Ebay. I got a few of them from Ebay awhile back for the heck of it, they looked cute.

She has transformed the 3 gobots on my desk but I'm afraid she might be a bit heavy handed for others. But hey, might as well let her try some classics. But I have nothing pink...lol.

My girlfriends 5 year old son can transform pretty much anything I've set in front of him. He's a bit of a savant. Can't do simple things but can do complex things like learn to ride a bike in 15 min. Literally. LOL.
