We haven't seen any pics of this figure at BotCon so I ask what is it? Is it just a repaint or something?

That makes sense but all I think it is a simple repaint of battle scars/damage and one thing that bugs me is that he doesn't have a sword but a laser gun.

You mean in the movie how he had the satillite gun and not the laser riffle sword his toy had. I think Jazz's Robot Replica comes with his movie weapon.

I'm not even sure because everything was so fast, I mean one second Jazz is shooting at Megs then the next Jazz is ripped in half.

In some other thread there was an argument bout whether or not Final Battle Jazz was his soon to come G1 redeco.

The G1 Repaint Jazz is NOT Final Battle Jazz, there was an image of a package that had an "also available" image of Final Battle Jazz, he was still silver, he seemed to have painted on battle damage and he's not (unlike G1 repaint) a target exclusive.

Click the sword/gun thing onto the hinge part of the shield which attaches to the car and then mount the gun on his arm, it sort of looks like the weapon from the movie.
