Speaking of Superstars, I've been seeing a lot of the new wave around. Unfortunately the only Mr. T I saw had a mangled package. The two WWE lines are the only ones I've been keeping in package so I had to pass on it.

Shame about Mr Ts packaging, only way I could get the masters of the wwe Mr T cheap was with out his packaging whihc i'd have kept the backing card and mini comic. Wondering if the superstars line will move onto the newer body types of the collection stuff but wouldnt rreally matter to me.


Movie Evil Lyn preordered. I can wait for retail stores to stock the others, not keen on paying £24 for what used to be £15 figures for the Origins stuff -on the bright side I wouldnt be wanting multpiles of any of the upcoming stuff as yet (until Necro-conda anyways).

Not liking skeletek skeletor as much from the other pictures so I might wait to see it instore and avoids revelations getting pennies from me, so not a bad thing. I do find new eternia Mekanek a bit lacking though, it doest have much other than his classic look to be branded new eternia.

Well I feel the pains of Americans, carbondale walmart still has the same stuff it did when I was there four months ago. Lady slithers been dispatched spat least I get some more motu goodies this month.

From someone who used to work in Retail many, many years ago. That display isn't a good sign. Indicative of shelfwarming and certain figures being over-distributed. A tale as old as time...

Wave 9 was the last wave I've seen at Target. Moss-man and the Ground Ripper with Mekaneck are the only 2023 Origins releases I've seen in stores.

Took a picture of the entire MotU section at my local Walmart this morning, all 4 pegs and 0 shelf space of it. The empty pegs are for Masterverse, I don't recall ever seeing any MV figures on them. Just look through my photos the last MV figure they had the shelf (aside from Skelegod) was a wave 1 Evil-Lyn in December 2021.

Hey, when did they update the hips on Masterverse figures? I'm pretty far behind on opening these guys up, but I sort of jump the order and opened the latest wave (Clamp Champ, Prince Adam, Horde Skeletor, Webster) and was surprised to find they all had a new joint so you can drop the hip and give the leg more clearance for kicks and sitting poses. It's an unexpected addition that I doubt many people asked for but will be happy to have. You'd think they would have introduced something like that with 40th He-man but he doesn't have it, nor does the more recent Whiplash.

mmm...might have to call snakespit on it but the snake lair won the fan vote.

Not something I really need or want but it would kind of suck having most but not all of the motu playsets. Might be able to use it with other figures so there is that.

*also looks like superstars is keeping the og origins bodies and not the newer style for the filmation figures. Doink looks roided and once again...best ever accessory with Andre the giant (Images 203-224, seperate pics of doink hidden in the other numbers)

Fangor arrived and snake lair is on his packaging too... Ho hum. Back to collectors packaging too, so easy slide out for those who want to recard.

Well at least the Snake Lair shouldn't cost $600. Unless they do some really crazy things I doubt it'll be more than $300, hopefully closer to $200.

Been charged for moss man so he should be with me soon. Hopefully smyths will start stocking the retail waves again.

And already back to more snakes, indemand has the origins snake infiltrator guard at £15. It's like going back in time to 2022 RRP

I already have these so it doesn't make a difference to me, but it's nice to finally see some new basic figures. Downside is this means I'm further away from ever finding Duplico. Also wish Walmart was more reliable with their releases of the line because I'd much rather pay $15 than $20.

Okay..some are definitely not as crazy as my ideas but that trapjaw is awesome and exactly the mad boffins I wanted to see.

Trapjaw does look the best out of all of them. Krang, I was unsure who he was crossed with? Mutagen He-Man.. looks off.

What a crazy line! I've got some thoughts.

Mutated He-Man - Basically Slime Pit He-Man Plus, very crazy and I like it!
Leo - Reminds me of King Grayskull with the fur cape and Preternia swords
Don - Called it!
Man-At-Arms - The turtle themed armor is a good look!
Trap-Jaw - FANTASTIC! Definitely the biggest hit of the line. Just noticed his belt.
Krang - What a great idea, his body is based on Megator (or I guess his race). He seems to have MOTU WWE Andre the Giants arms and legs (minus boots).

I saw someone mention that they should do Rocksteady and Bebop as Too-Bad and I kinda like that idea!

This is looking better than I really thought it would.

I hate it. But I do like that they did both Horde and Disco Skeletor and alternates.

Krang is nice enough and if it is at all figure even better. Not too far of King hiss colors too.

Donie looks good but he really needs the 200x man at arms gun for the kirby look

I like leo but don't see much of motu cross over in it, glad he got combining swords.

Man at arms looks good but does nothing for me, not different enough to be anything. Might be able to swap heads for a mikey though.

Mutagen heman looks the worse of the bunch but definitely looks like an 80s monster, even troma-ish so might still be a buy.

Other characters that looks like Tey will get figures is shredder, Raph, Mike, Casey, Splinter, ram man, hordak, teila.

Orco fugitoid might be good too, would be a bit more like the Netflix series. Baxter stockman in the style of many faces with 2003 face/brain/fly could work too

A few more quick thoughts. I think Krang and He-Man will be deluxe figures while the other four are regular figures making up all of wave 1.

I was trying to figure out why He-Man has a headband and it occurred to me that we're probably getting a Ninja He-Man (shockingly never done before) in wave 2 that this figure is mutated from (doesn't explain the spikes, but who cares about details?).

Pixel Dan mentioned, and looking closer I agree, Don's and MAA's weapons do seem to connect to give Don a longer bo.

Do Leo's swords really connect? Wouldn't the handle be too hard to hold and the end of the combined blade be weird looking? They probably combine in story, but I doubt the toy can.

The turtles having thin wastes and sculpted chests make them look very 2003-style. Weird that their armor straps seem to go under their shells...

Trap Jaw's shoulder is also a Mouser head, you can see the jaw details and red "eye/light" on top. He also has a normal left arm like Kronis rather than the usual armored forearm.

I'm glad there is more than one wave of these. I don't even mind if they do more than one version of characters like they did with the wrestlers (Macho man etc). They def have a 2003 tmnt look to them which is great for me as I ve just finished all the series.

Well mossman smells of material/fabric? Maybe even a kind of carpet smell but definitely not pine. Doubt we will be seeing a pizza smell figure anytime soon.

Smyths is restocking Panthor, so kinda yay at least thats one more than none.
