I've ordered this, even if I haven't ordered Devastator yet. I'm hoping in vain that he'll be sold at retail in the UK. Failing that I'll just have to pick it up online.

Now with that one site listing Takara Devy for a cheaper price, I'm leery about buying the elbow set. :-?

I'm worried about the shoulder "upgrade" that comes with PC-06. With this the full weight of the arm will be on a single, small plastic pin. The default shoulder spread the weight over three points and also seems much more stable.

To me the only necessary upgrades are the knee pads to cover those horrible holes. Head upgrade might be nice but it really depend on the paint app.

To those who got PE-06 for Devy, was it worth it? Does "Prowl" look good with the figure? I saw some reviews on YouTube and not everyone's impressed with it. I've been thinking about getting it, from still shots it makes Devy look better. But having people in reviews be disappointed makes me think that it's not so good in-hand.

To me just plonking a Prowl head on is... kind of admirable that they're making an effort but it's a little pathetic. It really doesn't give the illusion he's Prowl because the chest is still Hook, he just has a Prowl head - and, of course, Hook isn't replacing Scrapper as a leg. It really doesn't work; if you want to make a Prowlastator, you have to go all the way. This is about as effective as putting Titans Return Loudmouth onto Titans Return Blurr and going "this is Siren. This is totally Siren. It's not just Blurr with Siren's head, it's Siren."
To each their own, but it's far too little to even consider beyond the initial "oh my god they're doing it that's so cool" reaction to the head.

If you wanted a true Prowlastator, I don't think a 3P company could do any better than PC-06, short of making a whole separate Prowl figure that fits into Devastator once you remove Hook. I have seen pics where someone swapped out Hook for CW Prowl, but it didn't look very good. And yes, Hook can be fitted in Scrapper's spot as the right leg. My Devastator is on its way, and I already have both PC-06 and CW Prowl. So when the big guy arrives I'm going to try to put together a true Prowlastator. I really wish Hasbro made CW Prowl officially compatible with Devy.
