I liked the jump starters, they were perfect updates as long as you didn't mourn their G1 gimmick (I didn't)

You think so? I thought that aside from the head he was pretty good as well. Either way, WFC definitely had the superior iteration, bad shoulders and all.

Hasbro, I'll take a commander class Broadside, please. Much like with Motormaster/Menasor, make the robot the combination of the jet and carrier modes. That would make him more of a duobot than a triplechanger, but I'll take that over giant jet/tiny carrier.

Commander Broadside would be a good choice, and as far as TR Galavtron goes, we did get a pretty good Super Megatron out of it, a toy which many thought we'd never get.

Poor Broadside. Upping his scale is the only way they will ever get even a decent figure out of him.

A genuine Headmaster Arcee could be possible with the Blurr mold. But only with SEVERE retooling and remolding.

I really like this figure, it's a nice modern update.

At its core the only thing that separates a regular figure from a Headmaster is a neck socket and a working seat. Any figure can be a headmaster as long as there's enough space in the neck for a socket. There's really nothing stopping the new SS86 Arcee retool from being further retooled into a Headmaster.

Part of the problem HasTak have created now is that core class Spike and Daniel exist. For the humans to be at that "scale". Arcee and Cerebros would need to be proportionately upscaled. Which would extend to the other Head/Power/Targetmasters.

The remold8ng is not severe enough.
Arcee is supposed to be made out of curves, not boxes.

For Spike to be (technically) comparative in size to BB. What size class would Cerebros and by extension, Headmaster Arcee, have to be?

Like with so much of the G1 Animated stuff, Core Class Spike and Daniel aren't even to scale with their appearance in the movie at times. They hop into Rodimus's cockpit while wearing their exo-suits at the end of the movie. I'm not sure a Titan class Rodimus would support that. I'm pretty sure I'm going to use the Buzzworthy two-pack figures for Spike and Daniel when I'm worried about scale, though the Core is probably fine in general.

Tarn was in Cyberverse, so while I do not expect to see future IDW designs in toys, I certainly think it's possible to get IDW characters as future toys, especially if the characters are reintroduced. Plus we're getting a G2 Jhiaxus this year, decades after the only appearances with that design. It's not unreasonable to hope for a transforming Nickel sometime in the next few decades.

3P made a MP style toy out of that. It was expensive at the time and now, it's just impossible to get.

Cyberverse is over and there's a pair of characters that never appeared in the show nor in toy form.

Topspin and Twintwist. The "G1" classic versions.

For a line designed specifically for kids with a whole class of 1-step Transformers, I'm surprised that the original 1-step duo never made it in any kid's lines so far.

I know G1 Topspin and Twintwist are not rare and still cheap even complete to these days. Still, they could easily reissue them as a 2-pack in a G1 style box. NO EXCLUSIVITY shenanigans. No surcharge. A voyager priced box max.

I'm sure small children would have a blast with those classics.

No re-issue needed. very cheap on ebay! (for a G1 toy, anyway) But these toys are outdated now, even for small children. And the alternate modes are, well. Never mind they're fine for what they are. But yes, I thought of it once too. Whirl got a one step changer in Cyberverse, and it looks fine.

"No need for a reissue" but it's only for collectors who don't mind paying for high shipping costs. But there's many parents, grandparents, and casuals who don't know how eBay work and/or hate shopping online. The reissue will be for them. Plus finding a thing live in store leads to many impulse purchases.

I don't know about that.. Doesn't seem much like Arcee. I'm not saying it should be sexualized, but female bots should look a little different. Prime and Thrilling 30 did it. But I'm not a fan of wfc and stud series Arcee, because they aren't real transformers, and whoever made that recent windblade needs to stop reading kiss players.

I definitely see what you mean, but Ebay actual is very easy to buy off of. And I think some collectors could use to make some LESS impulsive purchases.

Here's my explanation on Daniel's size class: The normal Daniel is about the size of a lego minifigure or headmaster (compared to a transformer toy). In his transformer suit he is about the size of a "normal" core class transformer. (think of it as a mech suit) But his headmaster suit doesn't make him any larger, its like putting on a space suit or a coat.
