you didn't need to sacrifice anything though. All it needs is the front struts lengthened an inch and you'll have plenty of clearance. If you don't want the arms to end up further back in robot mode, you also raise the hinges up from the deck a half inch and lengthen the struts a half inch.

First off, I'm not donutting nor bashing anyones work because it's not like mine. I gave simple and unbiased critique of his piece and a solution to a problem that even Devastator saw in the design; a solution which would have no negative affect on the robot mode at all.

Anemis does excellent work. There is no denying it. and this piece is one of his best. That does not mean it can't be improved with a very simple fix that I know will work without compromising either mode. If he chooses not to do so, that is one thing, but to say it can't be done out of hand or that sacrifices have to be made, that is something else.

Al of my critiques are unbiased. That is because, I'm not out to attack anyone on a personal level. I look at the project itself, not the person who made it. That is being unbiased.

If, it were a matter of someone I didn't like and simply had it in for them, that would be a biased critique. If all I were doing were slamming his work, and not offering a solution then that would be a biased critique, not a constructive. By the same token, if all I did were praise him, and fawn over every project he made, or anyone for that matter, without critiquing the flaws, or offering suggestiions to improve, that would also be biased.

The thing is though, I have nothing against anyone here, certainly not Anemis. I admire his work. He is one of the best kitbashers here. That is all the more reason for an honest, unbiased, and constructive critique, and giving advise that could improve this already excellent piece in such a way that there are no sacrifices to either mode. I know he is capable of doing it.

I like the expression on his face. Like he is clueless or troubled.

Wow, that is amazingly ridiculous, or ridiculously amazing. Not sure which.

Either way, it's a shame that you have to handcraft all the pieces and any duplicates. It would be so nice if Hasbro had been able to create this and mass-deliver it, although I can understand how it may not sell to anyone but the collector market, and since it transforms, it's extensively more complicated than the OP trailer.

What you've done is match the level of thought and craft of a Masterpiece, perhaps even beyond the efforts that Hasbro even takes (with such details as the flip-out weapons, light-up eyes, and the individually-jointed fingers). I would REALLY love to see this thing professionally produced, since I would never shell out that much money to pay you justice. You're probably not charging enough, sadly. I can't imagine the hours put into a work like this.

Also, it makes Prime look dwarfed in comparison, and really, I don't know if Hasbro would ever produce something this awesome because it dwarfs the "hero" figure of Prime. So you probably own the most awesome and only version of MP Ultra Magnus to ever exist. It's exactly how he should be. I just really want one now, dammit.

As to the eye comment, yeah, it'd be nice if you could add some more "personality" to the eyes perhaps, but actually, the UM head is actually a helmet, so it WOULD have giant eyes, now wouldn't it? More of a visor so the below eyes could see clearly.

And why you created a second Matrix, wow. That was just showing off!

I'm curious... What does the backside of the armor look like?

I've always seen your first and second versions from the front, how does UM's inner robot fit exactly into the backside?

Granted, even the other MP figures besides Prime have a bit of awkwardness from behind... I just can't recall seeing a backside and wonder how you handled it.

The individual fingers still get me too. Did you carve and assemble the pins into each finger joint? How much trial-and-error did that take?
