This actually looks awesome combined! but alas it's just an amour.

Looks pretty damn good. I'm getting it for sure. And I am happy that it's just an armor and not a trailer, because we would have paid almost twice as much and probably not used all the pieces of the trailer, just like Protector for Rodimus.

I agree, i don't really want a trailer that is just going to sit there. I just wish they could've done more (or done something more convincing?) the with the amour parts in Alt mode. Although that's probably asking for too much.

Personally I'm not bothered by that, because as soon as it arrives, that Magnus will NEVER see vehicle mode again.

Actually never realize this but it looks like the Legs are way too long and the torso is too short. hmm... its kind of bothering me.. =/

Yea, I'm not a fan of this set either. I have no intention to buy it. Oh well.

Hmm, yeah it looks like it. I didn't catch that at 1st. Even if it's significant, it might be fixed with a bit of modification. If not, oh well. Not a deal-breaker for me.

Here's mine... Had some issues with the waist armor and currently waiting for a replacement. For now it's held by super glue.

My issue was the small T-shaped pieces didn't stay in place. Otherwise, this is a damn good upgrade. Very solid. I am actually contemplating removing the chest piece to see if the figure looks better without it.

honestly i think the add on pieces are nice. i have a few complaints for Optimus Prime Super Mode here.

1. the waist piece when u turn it to gun mode the blue top piece u tip up. that will snap off and the little screw will come out watch out. b. one of the white things that snaps underneight the end will come off also.

2. that black thing that bends and turns into a double barrel gun mode ( nice idea ) but using it to keep blue legs together for a unknown reason and if u get it off it will snapp off also. one of the black ends snapped off.

3. the little white long ear things that stick up for UM well they dont stay on all the time. OP had that probelm.

4. the arms and hands are nice. but its weak where u cant have him hold his gun without it dropping all the sudden. weak joints and the axe are the 6 C piece weapons when i thought OP and UM could have use it in normal robot mode also.

5. final Grade 1.0 reason is

a. where to put these pieces when they arent wearing is a probelm. be. redo the mold fiqure itself and the armor add ons because they are pointless now to me. im ready to throw it all away and not getting another thing from this company. i did enjoy my Takara OP Prime thou he looked awesome wearing the armor. but yeah. as for the Battle Tanker im wanting to try that out get the UN Takara Prime G2, and get the Battle Tanker for him.

So i've giving up hope of a good new third party or hasbo Classics Ultra Magnus.

I'd vote for City Commander. Sure, he's a bit dated, can use the add-on head, and has that ridiculous BFG (or awesome, if you are me, but I haven't often seen that opinion expressed by others). But, I still like him a lot as my Classics UM. Good size to go with Classics Prime and Rodimus, too.

ToyWorld doesn't have a very consistent release history. They've pushed out Megatron, a few Throttlebots, a few Headmasters, Prime, and Bii (definitely not all in that order). Now we're getting their first Dinobot. I believe anything can happen with this company and we could be surprised any day now - just like we were with Bii. I hope that comes true for UM (and that stealth bomber Megatron).
