I'm honestly not a big fan of BBTS because of their mark up, I'm going to look around and maybe try and find a reasonable priced one on ebay.

You'd be surprised at what you can find on ebay sometimes. A few months ago I got a Takara Metroplex, with the box for $175.

Happy enough to just own the originals Generations toys in G1 decos. Don't think these repaints are worth my time, prices and frustrating trying to buy them.

Do you think Hasbro will re-release Arcee with the fixed hands? Because most of the reason I wanted to get this re-deco is because of the fixed hands. Oh, and the AWESOME COLOR SCHEME!

If these are a limited release, it's unfortunate they're going with these new decos instead of doing "premium" versions. It would have given a lot of fans who never got Arcee or Chromia at retail a chance to pick them up with nice shiny paint apps to boot.

For the record, the correct term for these toys is redeco. They aren't merely changing the paint color, they are changing the color of the plastic they inject into the molds AND the distribution of paint applications. They changed the entire deco, so it's more than a repaint. And I'm not just targeting you with this comment, Silly, a lot of people do it. The term will probably continue to be used but at least I put it out there.

Anyway, in Hasbro's mind Arcee and Chromia are out there. They're done. Dealt with. Even though a lot of us never saw them on shelves, that's an issue with stores ordering low quantities, which is out of Hasbro's control since they can't FORCE the stores to buy more product than they want. They're available on BBTS in a two-pack for basically retail, so if you're in the US it's an easy way to get them.

I know technically they ain't repaints, but I just call them that because I'm weird.

We have had several images of redecos for Generations Arcee and Chromia which, as of today, we still have very little info of. So here is another piece in the puzzle to help us work this out. The TFND facebook page has posted a picture of what appears to be a platinum edition box set with artwork featuring Windblade, Chromia and Arcee in their Combiner Hunters deco. This confirms that these will not be available individually in these decos or part of a regular generations wave. The reflection of Devastator on the box may indicate that it is a companion piece to the SDCC Devastator recently revealed. What do you think?

Not really clicking with this whole set. Got all the retails and that's fine. If it was a target or toysrus and I saw it id snag it.

That box are...whew! Looks at Chromia's face. What is going on there?

Frankly, I'm not crazy about the box art, but I'll pick up the set if I find them at a local hobby store or TRU. "If" being the operative word here.

Buy it any if you want if you if you don't generations female bots maybe cheaper buy single packs if there going to retail how much room can three deluxes take up

Ok, looking at the box art and the issue covers for Combiner Hunters I've got a question. Is Windblade a new mold? The other two are obviously re-paints/minor re-tools but WB looks really different.

You can always buy them and keep them in a box. Not everything needs to go on the shelves.

Not sure if I need these. The molds are cool but the decos are kind of pointless. Especially windblade who is way too similar to the original colors. I hate the way the stupid box raises the price on these sets. I wish SDCC would just sell them in baggies like botcon. I hope they get flooded on HTS like the dinobots did.
