Want! I usually don't buy SDCC stuff but god dang these look fantastic. I don't have the originals, so this would be even more fun to get. C'mon Hasbrotoyshop!!
Also would like to point out, how much do y'all reckon this will cost? I doubt they'd try to sell 3 deluxes for $150 like most SDCC exclusives.

You never know, they can put whatever price they want on it(they usually do). But I think this will be more around the 100$ price area, like the Platinum Insecticons.

Seems to be a new deco but by looking at the Combiner Hunters cover and this then looking at the toy not sure how well it's going to be pulled off. That Chromia deco is pretty hideous itself so Windblade probably follow

That 3rd party group that's making Arcee's sword is probably shooting themselves in the foot now. From the box it's pretty evident she's coming with it. After all it is just Beast Hunters Optimus' sword and they've retooled her hands to use it and the retail Arcee couldn't hold it. Yeah that item is pretty pointless right now.

I don't know if Generations Arcee was ever on Hasbrotoyshop. Definitely not there now. Chromia was there for a while, but they took her down too. I never saw any of them on the shelf at any major retailers, including Target. There were only like 1 or 2 Windblades that ever showed up locally. I'm not sure what happened exactly, but the fembot molds never got any shelf space to speak of in my neck of the woods. You practically had to go crawling to Amazon or BBTS and pay their higher prices.

This box set may be the only option left for people who missed out on these molds. But depending on how much the box set costs, it may be cheaper to go to BBTS. (That would be a first....)

I feel you, neither of those molds have appeared in Canada yet. And as far as I know, Arcee never appeared at HTS. The best option for americans right now is BBTS which isnt that bad (they are about the same price of TRU retail), what sucks is you still have to pay for shipping.

And if someone only wants arcee, the cheapest option is actually going the takara route. How crazy is that?!

It was build for Arcee prior to the remolded hands were revealed, so I'm assuming all G1 Arcees will be able to hold the 3rd Party sword.

Hmmm....I don't Have Arcee yet (still!!) Think I may pre-order her Takara legends re-release since I missed it first time. The deco for this Arcee seems interesting enough though, but doubtful I'll chase after it.

And once again hasbro shoots it self in the foot. Instead of just releasing the figures individually they put them in a set that no store will carry except TRU, the base prices is going to be inflated cause its "platinum" then TRU is going to raise the price more cause its what they do. Thats if TRU even gets it cause we all know the never restock. If you dont want people to have something hasbro just dont make it.

Took me a minute, but I finally realize that's RID15 Bumblebee's sword in Chromia's hand.

So, my question, why couldn't Hasbro have just given Arcee 5mm hand holes to begin with?

It's probably a SDCC exclusive, with overstock sold off on HTS as per usual.

It's probably futile to say it, but being all negative doesn't make people want it any less

Just a silly thought, since Arcee was a complete TakaraTomy design (I forget who exactly did it) it may not have had to adhere to the 5mm standard. On the flipside, the retooling may mean the original weapons will be dropped from this release.

It is a good question, but important to note how involved her hands and gun are in her transformation. I think they may have made them flat so the gave ground clearance when holding the gun in alt mode.
But ya Jelz, you would think Tak would use 5mm pegs. They invented the things!
