They've got a cast, a crew, character models, facilities, vehicles, robot props, and most of the stuff they need ready. Therefore, I predict that the movie will come out in 2009! Just before the first, I start getting excited for the second! How odd. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!

And they want to put in the Constructicons and Dinobots, too! Let's hope Soundwave and Prowl will come with them! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

Devestator as voiced by Chris Rock.

Grimlock- no voice at all- he lost the ability to Transform into a dinosaur during the war, and doesn't wanna talk about it.

Soundwave will turn into a 2010 Camaro. The tapebots were already covered in the first film to Bay's liking (what isn't there to like about Frenzy?) so they won't be seen here. His head will be remolded to look like an exploded piece of shrapnel- to better suit him being ...

I can't do it anymore.

You know what? The sequel to Godzilla (GINO) 98 was greenlit too... But that didn't mean it got made.

I think that the overseas box office plus Toys have already pushed the movie into the black.

Also, with this this Transformers movie is officially better then the 1986 original.

Good. You haven't even seen the first one and you're already bashing the second? At least SEE THE FIRST ONE before bashing the sequel!

And at least less people will be whining about the movie in the next two to three years since most Bayformer bashers went to/will go to see the movie and like it.

I was happy with getting one movie. The news that we will apparently be getting TWO has made me ecstatic.

As to whether either one will rock or suck, we'll just have to see!

well its pretty normal for hollywood to do this.....they just think this movie will make money so they're preparing in case they can make more

Greenlit, yes. In production? Not quite yet.

I'll celebrate after the Box Office totals come in a month from now. Not that I doubt that the flick will perform well enough to warrant a sequel...but I'm not too keen on getting my hopes up before there's evidence to do so.

Love 'im or hate 'im, Tryp's got a point. Sequels get the greenlight often...it's the profits that determine whether or not they get made.
