After reading the "leaked script" I am almost betting tht it is either Perceptor or Wheeljack.. I am swinging more to Perceptor though

Another thought occurs.

What do most people think of when they think "scientist"?

Stereotypically: an older person, glasses, lab coat.

What do most people think of when they think "intelligent"?

Einstein has been used so often, he is pretty much the stereotype there.

Alice was a stereotype (taken to extremes, of course) of a slutty seductress. The Twins were stereotypes (taken to extremes) of the hip hop culture.

This- IF it's real, of course- is a scientist because it fits what the average moviegoer would assume is a scientist (white hair, glasses, etc); it's something for the average moviegoer to identify with. He doesn't appear "stereotypically" evil, so he is likely an Autobot. I was not initially going to guess a name, but the more I think about it in this stereotyping context- and considering the appearances by Perceptor in TF:A and his re-release via TRU- I am strongly leaning towards Perceptor. And remember, moviemakers work in stereotypes. WHy? It's so that there is less character to fill out, leaving more potential room for story or action. Each of us already has that stereotype of certain occupations in our minds, and movie makers take advantage of that- doctors, lawyers, scientists, politicians, athletes, etc. And these movies are made for the average moviegoer, not the small niche of fans and collectors; you don't make money that way. The broader the base that is entertained and pleased, the better the movie will go over with the average moviegoer.

Judging by the eyes, I'd say you are correct --But since this is Bay, my bet is shockwave.

For a twisted reason, it looks like the Predator meets Transformers.

I remember that now. I think it was also included in the novel written for the movie. Either way, it was supposed to be in the official story but got dropped.

I think it could've made for a better story for her, but it ruined the surprise of "Oooh! She's a robot!" which still wasn't handled all that well...

Because it's been debunked several times, and the footage they've been shooting proves that it's no longer even close to reality. Plus with Bay stating that Chicago's scenes were the end of the film, plus the treatment's final battle took place on an air force base and not in a city, I'm just a tad confused here.

The thing with "it's a fake script" is this:

Late 2006 or early 2007 a script gets leaked with the poster claiming it to be the actual real deal, Paramount says it's fake, the final movie gets released and it turns out that it's almost the exact same thing as the "fake script".

2007 during the same time the first movie is only a week away a text is leaked claiming to be the script for TF2, eminently said to be fake by Paramount, months later similar scrip is leaked, claiming to be a newer version this is again announced as fake ROTF gets released and is extremely close to this script with just a few differences like Scalpel fixing Megatron instead of Skorponok.

Now this new script is leaked and again is called a fake, while it's not going to be the final version this is probably the real deal and will give you a good idea of how the movie will turn out.

Here is my 2 cents. Nelson, an admin at bays site ShootForTheEdit.com, has clearly stated it is not Kup, Nor is it Perceptor. He is an Homage to Einstein, and I make Movies myself, so you give a guy glasses and a Mustache, He's smart. I believe It has been confirmed that it transforms into the Mercedes, a German Car, Where Einstein is From. Also, he may be shorter than bumblebee, but to be a Twin in disguise, he would have to be about half the size of BB. If you remember, they were short and squat. It appears to be an Autobot, with the blue eyes, intelligent, and not Kup or Perceptor. The Fiber Optics can Glow, Making it reminiscent of G1 Wheeljack's "Ears." I would like to see people Not get so angry about who or what he is. At the moment, due to many G1 references and the various stereotypes that filmmakers use, I bet on Wheeljack (ZOMG Don't kill me) for those reasons. Personally I have been waiting to get a toy reminiscent of old Jack. It wouldn't replace my Energon Downshift, but I would be interested on how bay would characterize this character. He is into having these robots fight, and another stereotypical quality of a scientist is that they are not fighters, and I would be interested on how is going to characterize this character if indeed he does have him fitting the bill for that stereotype. Also, G1 Wheeljack liked doing most of his stuff in car mode. This is the first time we have seen the Stand in for this bot, most likely the first time he has transformed. This adds to my theory of WJ. Also, the final character design can be altered. Think back to the first live action Movie, and the horrible Megatron face that appeared everywhere and we Said NO. Bay changed that. If all possible He may change this If there truly is a ton of uproar. I am not saying do it, but he may. I personally love this character design. I do not know why I love it, but I saw it and hated it, as you can see in my first post, but it has truly grown on me.

Huh? I believe my brother and I saw the 2007 fake ROTF script, it was nothing like ROTF, it had Hot Rod, Mikaela dying, ShockWave being this shaman guy who can revive people...that may have been SoundWave...

This new TF3 script...it seems to try to make Sam act too deep, just doesn't seem like it's real.

I may have found a different ROTF fake script though...

Fair enough, but the problem is that they time traveled in the treatment. None of the footage suggests that there's any time travel. I realize that the Mercedes is an older model, and so is the Datsun that Bumblebee takes as a disguise for a bit, but the entire Autobot cast was supposed to go back in time, there was supposed to be an Ark, etc.

None of those things seem evident in these pics and videos. I'd be willing to agree that some ideas might be taken from the treatment, but I doubt it's the story for the new movie. Nothing seems to fit with it.

This thing just looks like it belongs in a cartoon, not a major motion picture. Heck, maybe Transformers will get a decent reboot like Batman and Spider-Man in the future and we can forget about Michael "I Murdered Your Childhood" Bay.

Anyway, I'm inclined to think that this is most likely Perceptor, given that it wears glasses (Can anybody explain exactly WHY a robot would need glasses in the first place?). It just looks like a scientist (Ludwig von Drake, Einstein, ect.).

The only other character I could imagine is Silverbolt. Avery's voice just somehow fits the face. I don't exactly know how, but it does. And doesn't he wear glasses, too? Hmmm...

Anyway, that's my two cents.

You need to understand that not everyone is happy with Bay's work. Bay has done good things in the past, I am a fan of a lot of his work, just not ROTF. I'm not going to apologise if such statements from me or anyone else offend you.

He was picked by Paramount because of his previous body of work, which, as I said, I am a fan of. If he had churned out junk, he wouldnt' have made it, he wouldnt' have been selected.

So yeah, he does owe us, not just me, not just you, but every person who opens their wallet and goes and buys a ticket to a movie he has directed/produced/whatever.

Celebs, directors, these people are not gods, they are where they are because of their fans.

Of course, you are more then welcome to your opinion, you can think mine is wrong, I can think your's is wrong, and I have no problem at all with people having an opinion that ROTF was awesome, but I would perfer it if you extended me the same curtosy instead of taking a "holier than thou" attititude in your responses.

In the script it says Wheel Jack is an Old Geariatric Robot this could be Wheel Jack.

This would be must up if that was indeed Wheel Jack I always though wheel Jack in human age would be in his 30's or 40's not old and crippled.

Then again Bayformers are not in cannon toward's G1 everything is diffrent and nuts.

I bet this could also be a new Bot a new Bayformer such as Barricade, The Twins and the Arcee Bikes I guess time will tell.

Also another possibility could be that this could be another pretender in disquise such as Alice was in ROTF I guess time will tell we will learn more in the coming months.

Also this could be some odd-job no name thing such as ROTF had all the appliances coming to life with the All Spark Shard maybe this wierd bot could be something along those lines.

Alpha Trion is the highest guess but then again it could be a new transformer made for the movie.

If anything I'd like it to be a new bot, but I kinda think it's a joke and not even in the film :/

Wow, No need to be nasty guys. It's only my opinion. I actually liked RoTF, but I wished it had more story and developed the backround characters more. my comment doesn't G1 either considering I was only born in 1986 and even now never even got into it. I'm not buying into anything really until we know more. Could be a few characters we know of but it most likely will be a new guy.Seriously though, face value, no Bay bashing/defending, G1 projecting or what not..This is just an ugly face. When I think of robots, in any sense, I do not picture them looking like humans. No hair, no mustache. I just think that is unnecessary details to prove he is old/older. He may be an awesome character and very lovable in the film but he looks silly. Hopefully, he will be some sort of robot-human bond, maybe tapping into the Alice technology. That will make it more accepting to me.

I, for one, think it's Brakedown. Cybertron Brakedown, that is. Or Skydive, because he was the bookworm of the Aerialbots, and we're getting Silverbolt. And rather than the Stunticons, I think it's the Race Track Patrol. Roller Force is the red one, Ground Hog is the blue one, and Motorhead's the green one. Then Barricade will appear and lead them.

I don't think the race cars are Decepticons. Some of the pictures I have of the Chicago shoot show the Nascarbots driving in formation with the other Autobots...not being chased by them like others were assuming. I think they are Autobots.
