Says you. I dont mean using the G1 blueprint too rigidly, but reflect it the same way the Alternators line did, they looked great. The G1 designs were iconic, like Spidermans costume or mickey mouse.

Its a MASSIVE part of the mythology, Sam in dicking around in highschool isnt. If you like that, theres always Highschool musical 1, 2, 3 etc.

In the bigger picture, the scenes of Sam at school are very little compared to the rest of the movie.
As for Unicron being a major part of mythology, maybe so, but I still don't see WHY we need to see a giant transforming planet showing up to eat another planet. There's only so many ways that story can be told.

Well he transforms into an alt mode that doesn't require someone else to hold onto him for starters.
He's also a significantly different character from Megatron's original incarnation.
Oh and just because YOU think ROTF was bad doesn't mean you're right. It just means you have your own opinion which I don't necessarily agree with. That doesn't make you right, it doesn't make me right either, it just means we think differently. Nothing wrong with that at all.

There are no "real" Transformers, every series and its derrogatives are the "real" Transformers. There is no one "real" TF universe, because theyre ALL Transformers. If you want to sit at home in your little corner watching G1 all day and talking to yourself how G1 is "The one, the only real Transformers", then you do that, no one is stoping you!
