If Star Convoy is anything like the design on the box, this likely means he will have a core robot mode. Odds are it'll be an Optimus, most likely based on Powermaster Prime/Ginrai, but what if, instead, it is based on Orion Pax, akin to the POTP Optimus figure?

It would make more sense to be a G1 Prime as according to the story, it was G1 Prime revived with Star energy to become Star Optimus.

I'm more concerned about the statues being in scale, if so then Titan Star Optimus is going to have A LOT to live up to.

Friendly reminder.

Well there's 7 in that list, which I assume is incomplete, Then if you add Star Convoy (8), and Liege Maximo (9), there's still 4 others, so its a *maybe* at this point.
It's probably another trilogy, since Hasbro seems to like those now.

Don't forget Vector Prime. They put so many Primes into 2025 I don't think they'll be stretching AotP into three years. More likely the remaining 3 will be exclusives throughout the year. Only one that I think makes sense for 2025 is Nexus Prime after we get some Combaticons, unless they surprise us and treat them like pre-tools.

Why worry about the scale of the statues, they're statues, and in their own context aren't meant to be representative of the scale of the characters (or figures).

So Vector Prime is the "Buzzsaw" of this new era... (Legend scale Buzzsaw meant for TR, came out the series before at the end of CW) ;)

I image they'll re-package Vector Prime at some point in 2025 or 2026 so he can be in "Age of Primes" packaging with his Brethren.

They could even give him a repaint to his Galaxy Force color scheme, his concept art color scheme, his Aligned color scheme, or his One color scheme

Not a doubt in my mind. Probably not in 2025 though since All the Voyager slots are taken with all new characters. He might have gotten moved to Legacy as part of the plan to only release 3 waves in a year instead of four now, we sort of ended up with a bonus Legacy United wave, even if Vector isn't in the last wave.

First Look at Age of the Primes Prima Test Shot

Postby william-james88 » Fri Nov 08, 2024 9:30 am

Motto: "'till All Are One"
We knew we'd get a Prima toy in 2025, but what did you think it would tur into? Well now we actually have a clue. Some images of a test shot have appeared on Baidu for a figure which we are currently assuming ot be Prima, based on the chest. The colors are not relevant as this is a test shot, but what is extremely revealing is the alt mode elements. We see wheels in the legs as well as a backpack resembling an Orion Pax/Kup like vehicle front. So the very first Transformer would have a concept alt mode similar to the ultimate (and 13th) Prime, Optimus. So it's like poetry, it rhymes.

This is set to be a voyager figure. You'll let us know what you think.

Kind of interesting that the overall proportions are giving me slight TF One vibes - leggy! - but the details don't really seem to resemble the film Primes at all. Certainly there's no real resemblance to Prima there, though (given the note on possible alt mode) film Prima does have a helmet very reminiscent of Optimus' - if any details line up, the chest maybe reminds me a little of Zeta Prime's. Probably just coincidental though.

It's weird, I'd have thought they'd want some synergy when they've just released a film all about the legacy of the Primes...

It's interesting, I see some resemblance to the G1 cartoon, Aligned, and One versions of Prima, but it doesn't clearly resemble any one of them in particular. This is a notable distinction from Vector Prime, Alpha Trion, Liege Maximo, and Megatronus which have all clearly resembled one iteration in particular. I'll be interested to see what kind of head they go for.

Something about that shot puts me in mind of an unholy combination of Muffy (& the Mysterians) and Nuggit from Rock Lords!

Side note, but always nice to get articulated fingers at Voyager scale.

Looks interesting, the truck roof looks a little too clean for the rest of the figure. I wonder how much pre-molded parts sharing we're seeing here if any. Legs almost look like IDW Sentinel Prime's if you squint.

His hips seem to slide down for his alt mode and one of his legs is disconnected above the knee. With everything where it belongs I don't think the proportions will stand out much.

It almost looks like an amalgam of Aligned Prima and aspects of the "Old Matrix Holders" from Five Faces of Darkness.

The squared off, blocky parts, like the arms, are a departure from most of Prima's rounded, knight-esque designs.

AOTP 2025 Armada Red Alert Prototype leaked

Postby Overcracker » Tue Nov 19, 2024 3:34 pm

Courtesy of Yogpp over on tfw2005, we have what appears to be our first look at AotP 2025 Armada Universe Red Alert.

Its either a prototype or a test show, but does let us know it will have his removable shoulder gun and translucent mohawk in vehicle mode.
No opening grill though. Not that a spring loaded disk launcher was ever going to. be there, but you know the features would have been nice.

Need all of his repaints now.

Images of Transformers: Age of the Primes Prima and Armada Red Alert

Postby william-james88 » Thu Nov 21, 2024 9:26 am

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Via @CsbiaoO_, we now have images of the colour version of the Prima prototype we previously saw. Now we see that the chest does indeed open up to store a matrix. We also have a shot at the alt mode (kinda), which would be a cybertronian vehicle truck similar to Kup.

We also have an image of a test shot of Armada Red Alert, coming within the same line. Unlike what many fans feared, it is a fully new mold AND it has a minicon port, which can be spotted around the back of the vehicle.

We thank Glyph and Overcracker for letting us know of these images.
