WasPWNator wrote:Yeah I collected enough to do the Unicron battle (and yeah, I thought Cybertron was looking a bit tiny too...) but there were still 3 minicons that I hadn't found yet according to the minicon counter thing. Was wondering if there were any further rewards for it, but I guess not.

WasPWNator wrote:I always liked designing task-specific minicon kit outs. Like there was one that was the stealth one, the glider, the energon vision and the rocket launcher. It meant you could spot Decepticlones a mile off and then glide invisibly towards them, sneak up and then blow them sky high!
Good times...
Who was people's fav character? For me it's Red Alert all the way. One of the reasons I loved the game so much was because Red Alert was already one of my most loved transformers characters.

I might already know the answer, but any particular reason?

Too damn hard. Plus it was short and boring.

It was about the same length and difficulty as WfC.

Not for me. I beat WFC in 6 hours with no problem. I beat Armada in about 4 hours. That's probably because I got so pissed off and just put in cheat codes about halfway through the game though.

Then it's your own fault. It's not that the game was too hard or too short, it's that you weren't very good at it, and used cheats instead.

Tru dat. Few PS2 games ever managed to look even half as good too. Especially the Deep Amazon level. Preeeetty.

Only thing I didn't like was how Cyclonus was always able to throw me off the top of that Pyramid One time, he stayed in copter mode, and I whittled his health half way down before he transformed and landed on the lower are of the pyramid. I jumped down there, and he grabbed me and swung me around anyways! It was funny though, because the spinning kept slamming me into the wall of the Pyramid over and over again, while thos hover sheilded rocket drones kept shooting at me, and decepticlones came out of the pyramid and just stood there and got blown up by the missiles, when he finally let me fly, I flew halfway accross the level, and landed somewere under the rope bridge. I finished him there.
Also, when you get the chance, stick a limpet mine to an average decepticlone's face. It's worth seeing what happens. Also, aquip Dash, and dash into one, see how far they fly!
One last thing (My favorite thing too)
Eqip Tractor beam, and stealth. Get in as far away as you can, yet just barely in range of the tractor beam, and activate it on a decepticlone from a far distance. one you have him, fling him upward and let go. If he ever comes down, he'll instantly explode, and it's always worth a laugh.

Yeah, the tractor beam is all kinds of fun!
Also, I beat Cyclonus once without getting thrown off of the pyramid. There is a brick wall on top that you can dash around and use for cover while you take shots at Cyclonus. You have to be quick, but it can be done.
Another fun trick is in the first Alaska stage as you're working your way through the canyon. At some point, you get ambushed by a couple of Decepticon transport jets. If you time it right and are ready for them, you can use the Slipstream minicon to glide into one of the jets and actually fly over a large portion of the stage while inside. When you want to get out, just blow the jet up.
