I just watched the episode with the cars, it was great. I definitely want them now, they were a lot of fun in the show.

I want several of those, but only a couple of them. I don't like that they are doing such large sets, but oh well, I understand it even if I don't want all of them.

I did preorder the racecar sets. I so want that pizza car and the game controller hovercraft. Hopefully March of 2023 is not the actual date though, I can't wait a year!

The 20 and 32 bundles look like they will actually be four each of the 5 or 8 packs and even sticks you with 2 repeat characters for the 20 pack and 4 repeats for the 32 pack. So I also pre-ordered only the car sets. The plus side of them doing this is it should ensure you get 1 each of the 4 varieties, which is better than playing the order and return game with Amazon. I would order 2 and hoping they are the 2 different packs I wanted/needed and return them if not. This way you should be ensured to get one of each.

If you only want a few, I'd say wait them out in stores, but that is risky because we aren't sure when or which stores will even bother carrying them. I'm still trying to piece together wave 5 and Target was pretty much the only place carrying them anymore when the pandemic hit.

I'm going to try and complete the wave, so I'll probably end up pre-ordering the bundles, but it would be nice to find them at Target during a sale before Amazon ships. Oh yell, we have about a year to figure it out.

After looking again at the reveals I can see I’ll be spending a fair bit of money on these. I really hope there’ll be codes to help us find the ones we want!

I think we've got a mixed bag, but they have redone the distribution and cases in favor of collecting them all.

There are still the individual blind packs that will likely have a code on them. One of the pre-orders is a for a full case (24) of the blind single packs.

The 20 character bundle is actually 1 of each of the four different 5 packs, likely still with 4 visible and 1 behind the bubble on each pack.

Similarly the 32 character bundle is actually 1 of each of the four different 8 packs, likely still with 4 visible and 1 behind the bubble on each pack.

The vehicle 2 pack bundle is one of each of the individual vehicle packs with a vehicle and 4 bots each.

But the big difference in this wave versus other waves is there are only 4 different of the 5-packs and 8-packs instead of 8 different ones per case. On top of this, for the 20 character bundle there are only 2 repeats (broccoli and silver disc), and for the 32 bundle only 4 repeats (poop, floor sign, rat and dog bowl).

So for collectors like me who want the whole line, pre-ordering the vehicle packs and 20 and 32 bundles are the way to go. Then you just have to hunt down the 8 or so bots that are only in the single blind packs, hopefully with codes.

As someone who went all in on the previous waves, this setup is much better than spreading them over 8 different 5 and 8 packs where you often ended up with multiple repeats, sometime even 3 or 4 of a character just to get them all. This should be the cheapest wave yet, since I won't be be buying 5-7 each of the 5 and 8 packs.

Edit: Also, odd note, Entertainment earth has them coming in September 2022 instead of March 2023. That would be nice if it is the more accurate date.

After really enjoying the show, I ended up buying the rest of the main cast. Dimlit is still in a moving tote, so it might be a couple months before they are fully united.

They have to be getting close too since some of the same figures are in the ones already shipping.

It's been a while since we had more info on the new 2022 Botbots. There was the janitorial crew, the pet based ones, the vehicles, and so many more. Well, Entertainment Earth got the new sets in (links below) and they are shipping them now. We also have images of the new packaging, which were found in e-bay listings.

The animals are very "Beast Wars Happy Meal" and I love them! Some other interesting ones in there, hope they make it into stores this time around so I can pick the sets I want and reduce the chance of duplicates.

There are figures shipping from other lines that weren't even due until next year. It would be nice if retailers like BBTS, Amazon or Target gave you the option to hold your order and charge you at the original date.

We've been waiting since April 2021 for the Botbots vehicles and now that they are finally in the question is, are they good toys? And will they be fine for the target audience? Fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg breaks that down for us below.

While these are nice sets and I enjoy the larger transforming vehicles, the complexity of getting parts to move on most of the Bot Bots makes it very hard for me to recommend them for smaller hands. Of the two I prefer the Outta Controller set more, just have a spudger handy.

For those curious, the individual packs are lettered A-X instead of numbered 1-24, so we will be able to see who is who before opening them once someone who ordered a whole case decides to open theirs and the info gets to tfwiki.

I am not that person. I'm not sure if these will make it to stores, so I ordered the case and will sell off the 16 that are duplicates and saving the 8 unique ones for Christmas. For wave 5, they never made it to stores by me and buying the 8 individual unique bots from that wave on ebay ended up costing more than a case would have.

Sweet! The botbots are part of Hasbro Pulse's 25% off sale for premium members that I just took the plunge on today. I pre-ordered the whole set from Amazon, but have only opened the 5-packs so far and have until November 30th to return them.

I'll take 25% off the 8-packs, vehicles and individuals, sure thing.
