The use of the car salesman quote from the 1st movie as the inspirational narration was utterly bizarre. Yet, it kind of worked.
It's probably just for this teaser trailer, like how Revenge of the Sith's teaser trailer used dialogue and footage from A New Hope to tie it all together.o.supreme wrote:Calling out a quote from "the future" was odd though, continuity be darned though,

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!

I thought it was a nice wee nod to Bernie Mac.Rodimus Knight wrote:Honestly I like this design for Bee much more then his micheal bay version.
As do I. I always liked Bumblebee as the scout, rather than the Warrior. It was his primary role in the old days after all.BeastProwl wrote:Worse case scenario, the movie is actually good, and does well, then what? Do they go back on the reboot? Decide to make more? I'm simply hoping this can lead into a soft reboot itself. Assuming it's any good that is.

At least this franchise's unstoppable retconning has given us a VW BB and a Starscream that actually looks like Starscream, instead of some bowlegged, robotic Ugnaught (Star Wars reference. Google it.)
I might set aside my revulsion for the Bayverse toys and pick up those two, but I don't see myself dropping any coin on the movie itself. They've swirled too far down the toilet to bother with anymore.
