It was a regional store in malls called Gadzooks. They always had one half of a replica VW Bug in the stores.


So toy store employees in Canada seem to give a **** as the shelves always seem to be stocked and neat. It's like a whole other country up there.

Simba Dickie, a producer of die-cast replica toys and R/C cars, will have plenty of their own tie-ins for the new Bumblebee movie coming this December. One such item has been previewed and for us that is a Rusty-marking Bumblebee VW Beetle Die-Cast via the Majothèque de Majorev Facebook profile. The car is available in the 1:64 scale and features a die-cast design in a blister package with a rusty deco. The Bumblebee vehicle should be available this winter to retailers in plenty of time. I was in TK Maxx in the UK today, and I saw a 4 pack of TLK Bee's car and bot mode and the Bumblebee movie Beetle and Bee's bot mode. Sort of like an evolution pack, and it costed £12.99. Sorry I didn't get any pictures!

Thanks to Podcaster ScottyP, we have word that the new Bumblebee movie Power Plus figure Shatter has now been sighted at US retail! Shatter is a reuse of the Dropkick/Hot Rod skeleton, now in a new red muscle car look complete with Shatter's head. This figure uses one of the little energon igniter engines, which when activated powers the vehicle mode forward. This engine is compatible with all of the Energon Igniter classes of figures.

This is the first of 2 Shatter toys from the Igniters line, the second of which will feature her jet mode.

Shatter was found in Cary, North Carolina at a Target for $12.99, so head on out to your locals stores and let us know what you find and what you pick up!

OH, I bought that at the Northville Meijer a week and a half ago, but had no idea it was news.

My first time handling that mold, though I bought the other two a week later. The igniters themselves are clunky, obtrusive, and don't work as great as I'd like, but the supercharged modes for this mold and Bug Bumblebee are really growing on me for some reason.

Well, I've had some time to play with Legendary Prime, and I gotta say, I love it. My favorite thing about it? Takara 'WeiJianged' a WeiJiang figure of the original EMOP.

I would have posted this earlier had I known it was news because Shatter popped up like 2 weeks ago at my local Target. I'm just waiting for Siege and Studio Series though, and they haven't shown up yet.
