Looks kinda neat! I wonder if we'll be seeing more from this line soon, there's listings for a Studio Series buzzworthy 2-pack that were found a little while ago.

It definetely isn't the same jetpack, it looks very different.

Honestly, this toy and the Siege Seeker mold are what I wish the 1984/1985 guys from Siege would have been. A series of Cybertronian alt modes either homaging one we've had on screen, comics and videogames, or giving us freaky new ones, that turn into cartoon-like robot modes. I guess I just like the concept of getting basically the same robot mode from two markedly different alt modes. A shame they didn't go for it. I guess the reason is that those wouldn't be as easy to remold into earth modes.

But now, basically half of siege feels pointless just because of how earth like most of the "cybertronian" modes are. The Datsuns, Countachs, Mirage and Optimus are the worst offenders for me. Megatron, Hound and Soundwave are barely worth it... Megatron even feels a bit more egregious now that the Shattered Glass one exists and has a decent jet mode.

You serious here? That's a friggin flying saucer that turn into a bot who pretend to turn into a Beetle. That's the entire point and there's no way to achieve that even at Masterpiece level without fake parts nor shellforming.

He's also not meant to fit in Siege nor the entire WFC trilogy, but rather in SS86. As a "flashback".

My issue is that, compared to Siege (which you'd expect him to "go with") where everyone had a subtly redesigned robot mode to accomodate the cybertronian vehicle modes, he tries way too hard to accomodate the "We didn't have the budget to do separate robot designs" thing of the...5 minutes or so Bumblebee shows up in that form. I'd rather they either adjusted the alt mode a little or made the robot mode reflect what he turns into. I get that they wanted to homage the opening scene but at the same time I'd rather he looked more at home with Siege than stood out as an oddball like this.

Plus I really, really hate faux-parts. I could accept it on the Siege Seekers because it formed a sort of power-core/sensor pod detail on the rear of the jet (and also I just love that mold) but for the most part I'd rather they either made parts that homage the kibble without actually trying to BE the kibble (see RID2001's chest) or alternatively just adjusted the design to make it actually work.

Greetings Seibertronians! It's only been one day since In Demand Toys revealed the existence of Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Origin Bumblebee, but now, thanks to an anonymous Target employee, we have the Listing as found in the Target computers!

DPCI: 087 16 3816
Price: $22.99

This image not only gives us the DPCI for this saucer shaped Bee, but a date when we can expect to see him turn up at Targets, hopefully nationwide, that date being 08/11.

Looking at the price, it would seem that this is indeed a Deluxe Class figure, but until we have in hand shots, we can of speculate if it's a complete new mold of if it's been retooled from the Earthrise Cliffjumper/Netflix Bumblebee mold.

Addendum: expert analysis from fans has confirmed that the jetpack with Bee is completely different to the one that came with Centurion.

I'm really excited to get more images of Origin Bee and hopefully pick him up. I hope Hasbro has him as a shared exclusive between Pulse and Target to try and minimize over stocking at Brick and Mortar, while maintaining a healthy stock for the fans who want him.

I noticed something kinda cool yesterday about his transformation, it looks like his robot mode chest forms the front grill section in vehicle mode. It's not much, but I do kind of like how it tries to use parts instead of just making his robot mode chest a faux part entirely. I hope we get some repaints/remolds too, like maybe an Animated Wasp inspired version, and maybe through in a Bugbite just because

From the internal data presented above, it seems stores are only getting one case at first.

Regarding the figure, I love it. It captures the heart of my four-year-old self and now the wait for August is going to be HELL because this is all I'm going to be thinking about for the next month.

Do you remember a listing for a Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Evergreen 4 Pack? Well, we now have our first image of it. As with most of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line, it is made up of reissues. With this pack, it's the 4 main Transformers characters from Cyberverse. And the Cyberverse show used the evergreen designs so hence the name. Also, this is the first ever toy in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line to actually reflect the evergeen Bumblebee shown on all the boxes. These first images went sent to us by Scotty P who found these on the Brandora website.

The set consists of warriors Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Starscream and Cybertronian Megatron.

That “Buzzworthy” 4-pack is an easy pass for me, but I hope this means a reveal of the Kingdom 4-pack is right around the corner. Fingers crossed we don’t have to wait for one of Target’s “geek culture” reveals next month.
