How would Hasbro registering for a brand new trademark they've never used before ("Wrecker Hook"), instead of just using one they've already owned and used in the past ("Tow-Line"), be "lazy"?Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, the Combatron symbol.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Probably just the same one as Scourge: "Robots in Disguise 2000 Universe"

Or they'll be lazy and just call him "Wreckerhook"...

There's no "G1 Tow-Line" either, so they wouldn't either way.Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Sabrblade wrote:How would Hasbro registering for a brand new trademark they've never used before ("Wrecker Hook"), instead of just using one they've already owned and used in the past ("Tow-Line"), be "lazy"?Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, the Combatron symbol.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Probably just the same one as Scourge: "Robots in Disguise 2000 Universe"

No need for "Robots in Disguise 2000 Universe"

There is a "G1 Wrecker Hook" via Car Robots. But at this point we're splitting hairs as per usual.

Ever since I saw Tow-Line I completely forgot about Hound . I wonder if they will release Hound in Buzzworthy packaging with a SS number (similar to Cliffjumper) basically shoot 2 birds with one stone.

If he's a SS 86 release (which I believe he is) he'll have a number. I just want some news.

There's also the scenario of him not releasing at all this year. Hasbro explained that there was some rerouting with exclusives during the last discussion, where something planned that was not related to Rise of the Beasts was put on hold. That's the explanation for Hot Rod not coming out (which I admit, is odd since that just left velocitron wave 2 with no voyager class for shelves). that same explanation could be used for Hound no longer planned to come out. We have seen that Target is going more the route of Rise of the Beasts this year.
All to say: no one should hold out on Hound until he is revealed by Hasbro. Until then, his chance of distributions may have been scrapped.
