From my understanding, the only major difference is that the limited edition ones have numbered licsense plates, and a unique package, whereas "retail" won't have either

Aside from less annoying emails that I'm sure they get, what would be the point of that? This just says to me it was a good idea on paper but they didn't think things through enough
