I wouldnt mind it if it was in scale with actual transformers. Couldnt they have used legends arcee and the mefan fox human alliance figure ?
Ah, that make more sense. Though, the Club seems to prefer using more substantial figures like Deluxes and up, and the Legends Prime Arcee would be too small for a Human Alliance human figure since the HA line made some motorcycle toys for their human figures to ride (Jazz's gun, Arcee, Chromia, etc.) that were much bigger than Legends; closer to Scout sized even.Rated X wrote:Actually I meant tf prime legends arcee.
Offscreen movieverse molds are fine, so long as they aren't designs owned by Paramount. The HA Mikaela mold is not only Paramount-owned but sculpted in Megan Fox's image. For a very limited production figure release, the Club would likely spend more money trying to get the mold to make the figure than they would earn from selling the figure.Rated X wrote:I would think any mold could be for the right so it can make money rather than collect dust in some chinese Warehouse. The club did start using off screen movieverse molds to make spinister, octopunch, and machine wars sandstorm. Change the paint colors and it isnt megan fox anymore. Its not like its a GM car or something. Its a mini doll.

I thought the fandom had collectively agreed to never speak of that again?

When it comes to me and FunPub? No, there isn't.
The only decent thing they've done in recent years is Runabout and Runamuck. Nothing else has really interested me (except Scorponok, but I couldn't afford him anyway) and their business sense is rather lacking.
(That's how I feel anyway)
I like Jackpot, Scourge, Thrustinator, and the BW Uprising stuff... But I do agree there's room for improvement. For starters, get your freakin' website back up, people, it's been how long now?

I thought the fandom had collectively agreed to never speak of that again?), for if one were to carefully and strategically eradicate any and all elemental traces of gross/skeevy material from the Kiss Player fiction, one would see that it does contain two very intriguing storylines. One involving the EDC leading an anti-Transformers propaganda and hunting down the Cybertronian TFs with manmade TF drone soldier (before the concept fell into overuse a few years later), and one involving Unicron's servants leading the protagonists on a multiverse-spanning journey that results in Primus battling Unicron on prehistoric Earth and sealing him away, planting the seeds for events to come in both Car Robots, Beast Wars II, and Beast Wars Neo.

If only it weren't for the perverted skeeviness hiding these grander stories.

Huh. Never would've guessed in a million years something good came out of Kiss Players.
For the record, it's sir. You got it right the first time.
Can't access any of the molds sculpted to look like actors, that's for sure. Well they could if they wanted to fund a new head sculpt, but since cutting a tooling for a head is pretty much the same regardless of size, I'm pretty sure Fun Pub would prefer to fund a Deluxe or Voyager head sculpt rather than a Human Alliance head.
Right. But that doesn't matter in the paperwork. It could be a blob with a smiley face etched in it (which some of the HA aren't far from) but if Hasbro said that it's supposed to represent an actor that's all that counts.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Though, I do question why the hell they decided to name the bike Afterburner, not only is it not a TF, but she never had a connection to Afterburner in the first place.
Not to mention that this is no different from those SDCC Joe/TF crossover sets that had non-transforming Joe/Cobra vehicles as Starscream, Shockwave, Hound, and Jetfire. At least this one has some fictional precedence by teaming Afterburner up with Marissa, rather than being done just for fun like the others were.Super Megatron wrote:Dead Metal wrote:That looks pretty good. I take it you have never watched the G1 cartoon episode "Money Is Everything".

I would hardly call that a teamup worthy of homaging in this way. IT would have been better had this simply been a bike.
