The feet (small as they are) would be backwards and his hands would be upside-down (the thumb is sculpted on top, not in the middle of the fist, not to mention one arm has a laser cannon).

If you mean are his lower legs on backwards, yes. Easy flip though
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Plus, S.2 has a really nasty error in its assembly instructions concerning the rods that connect his body to his backpack. The ridge in those rods are supposed to act as stoppers between the backpack and body, but more often than not, unwitting builders follow the instructions and end up with an ill-fitting backpack that will cause all kinds of breakages.

We have gotten a great response to the Transformers Collectors' Club Figure Subscription Service (TFSS) for version 3.0, and now, it’s time for another reveal! Next up, a 90’s unreleased Transformers Generation 2 concept from Japan, now finally realized with the help of Kre-O - Blocktown Carzap w/ GB Blackrock Kreon and Kre-O Battle Station! As a reminder, the order period will be open through 11:59 PM October 2nd.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

But yeah, if anyone has a good way to swap around Stylor's limbs ... please post. I'm afraid to go pulling on things given the price of these things.
There really isn't a good way to take apart and reassemble arms microns. That mold can especially be quite fragile.
Mine are "backwards" as well, but can someone fill me in on why it matters on this mold? He's symmetrical either way, all it does is swap which end a peg ends up on in weapon mode.

Yup, new head.megatronus wrote:Also, originally (IIRC), it seemed like the Carzap mold utilized Nightbeat's head - here it looks like an entirely new head. Is that new?
EDIT: in other news, I fixed Stylor's legs. You get a bit of stress mark once you pull the legs off (make sure you pull straight down), but a little heat (hair dryer) makes it fade fast, and it's covered up regardless by the lower leg pieces themselves.
Conclusion? Win.

And now you gotta fix the arms. Be very careful when yanking those off the shoulders.

While I'm sure some folks got in on these just to resell at a premium, 1) I ain't mad and 2) You'd have to be an insanely quick handed and well prepared scalper to have gotten in on a "ton" of that stuff since they were limited to one per membership. I think of the dozen or so Megs/Wasp sets, you can go count up posts here and elsewhere and account for half of them. Same goes for much of the 08 stuff.
So yeah, if someone ends up with a big haul of multiple super valuable things, good for them, but it'd have taken a small miracle to pull that off and the timing window was just too small for me to buy into some theory of Grubby McNeckbeard Scalpsmith IV keeping anyone else from having a shot at stuff. These were high demand items and pretty much everyone got the club's email/tweet at the same time. You can buy stuff on phones these days pretty quick, it makes total sense that everything they had worth jumping on would be jumped on quickly.

Carzap is one of those cases where I feel hypocritical. If they released this, the original G2 mold, just like this, I'd think it was an amazing release and it'd be one of the tops in the FSS for me. But as it is? Total yawn and I just don't care. Is that weird?

The way the Club seems to be approaching this toy is as its own character separate from Windbreaker rather than as a new version of Windbreaker. So it can go on a Classics shelf as Block Town Carzap rather than as G2 Windbreaker.ScottyP wrote:megatronus wrote:It's one thing to homage an official release, it's quite another to homage a non-release or cancelled product.
That's a good way to put it. I feel the same way about Nacelle. Use the encore G1 seeker mold and make it look like that catalog image, and that's a freakin' huge win. As it is, it feels like a weird addition to a Classics shelf when there was never any original version of it to begin with.
