I'm going to replace every single Igear MiniBot (sold cosmos and gears) I have with better Hasbro versions when they get made. So far only Brawn from Igear remains.
and i was totally on board with igears powerglide and wheelie, but its been so long i doubt theyll ever see the light of day.

i think igears gears (lol) was pretty close to the source material. he always looked dumb.mooncake623 wrote:I really hate the Igears Gears... his head sculpt looks like The Juggernaut, I've replaced it with Maketoy's Gears which I'm not really happy with either, might replace it with the Hasbro version when i get my hands on it.

true that.ScottyP wrote:Totally with you on this. The new "Minicons" are just a mailed in effort. I don't expect crazy advances in Minicon engineering, but these feel like a huge step back from even the pretty simplified Power Core Combiner era Minicons.shajaki wrote:i know theres a lot of micron love out there, but the legends microns are not as functional as id like.
That said, some of them are still cool as hell, like the Space Shuttle guy and Tailgate's Bulldozer, but on their own they don't hold up to even 12+ year old Armada molds - which is a line known for its simplicity!

not only is BBTS sold out of half of them (already!) but theyre cheaper at Ages3AndUp, with actual preorder stock left.
i preoerdered everything i could with BBTS, found A3AU, cancelled everything with BBTS, preordered everything with A3AU, all in a span of about 4 minutes. its a good store for me as well being canadian and all.

i had thought about that. but being in canada, the membership is more expensive. and im not sure what these figures actually cost to members? shipping is a bit irritating as well... they always use 3rd party carriers which i have quite a distaste for and usually have fees on top of fees.megatronus wrote:At the point that you're preordering all of them, wouldn't it be better just to get a membership and order through the Club, and then sell the ones you don't want?shajaki wrote:id actually like to make an amendment:

Also, Reflector is my favorite minicon. He's adorable, and integrates really well with Skrapnel in bug mode.

Which ones don't you want? I by and large like them, despite my initial disappointment, with the exception of the seekers.
But that's where eBay comes in...

Serpentor and Carzap do nothing for me. I'm worried about QC on Serpentor as well, the Takara Generations Ratbat had a ton of breakage problems. Although Devcon wasn't so bad so hopefully that's an unfounded worry.
