I was wondering the same thing. I think I read somewhere on their site that the difference was that the first class postage membership people got their newsletters near the beginning of the month, while steerage class got theirs near the end. I'm leaning towards the third class membership myself -- $22 is a voyager class figure!

Motto: "Collecting little transforming action figures is the right of all sentient Geeks."
Weapon: Indepentently Targetable Particle Beam Cannons
That is correct:

You pay 22 extra bucks to get it 10 days earlier, provided you live in the continental US of course.

so regardless of what type of membership you have, you'll still be getting the same type of exclusives?

Yes, the only difference is what postage is being used to mail your master collector and club newsletter. The exclusives are the same for all members.

Personally I paid for the 1st class mail this year because I'm impatient. Third class mail which is the cheaper subscription price tends to arrive at the end of the month here while first class gets to me at least around the 1st of the month.

Everybody gets the same access in the forums, the same access to new toys at the store, and the same exclusives.

I went for the $40 membership. I can be patient. All content is the same.

no no, you're not ignorant at all. i believe you get a free exclusive figure(not sure how many exclusives you get for free though), newsletters, and eligiblity to buy exclusives off the collectors club website and also a collectors club discount which takes off a lot of $$ from the exclusives.
