I'd say another $25.

I don't think he's serious. If he is, then there's nothing wrong with a little competition!
It was mostly tongue-in-cheek, since I saw a lot of people suddenly talking about it on my twitter feed. But at the same time, it's kind of a bad precedent to set to offer bounties on photos like this. Seeing as how we haven't ALREADY gotten several decent photos of the figure, this is likely a retailer/distributor type of display, which usually comes with an NDA or at least some rules disallowing photos. It can be for lots of different reasons, non-final product/not ready for offical release, etc, but it's usually taken pretty seriously. So the site is basically asking someone to break those rules and risk getting tossed out/banned for a $50 payday. I absolutely understand the desire to have an exclusive look at something to draw traffic, but I disagree that this is a good way to go about it. It'll be on display at ToyFair most likely, we just have to be patient and wait a couple more weeks. Pushing for photos like this could cause Hasbro to react by severely limiting what they show in the future. I'm as excited to see this guy in all his glory as everyone else, but I can wait a few days for an official reveal.

My Herc and Giant aint going anywhere. I care about scale. I just need to find a spot for an oversized stand alone Devastator in my room.

Couldnt he have a face off with your YOTS (or energon) Omega Supreme?.
I'd imagine this Devastator wouldn't be that much taller than those. There's no way it'll be as tall as Metroplex was. Six Voyagers in the G1 Devy configuration don't reach two feet. It'll probably more likely be about as tall as Hercules. If not, maybe a head or so taller, but not by a whole lot.Rated X wrote:william-james88 wrote:Rated X wrote:padfoo wrote:megatronus wrote:I feel fairly validated about selling my Hercules - I shipped him out to my buyer today.

Im thinking omega is alot smaller then this Devastator. Hercules is about the same height as YOTS Omega with the maketoys add on set.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

But we know thats not true, if he was, he would bemuch taller in comparison to the Silverstreak box.

No one has confirmed it's not mistransformed yet, and looking at the G1 versions, Mixmaster was the simplest of them all. I can't fathom how making anything reversing that set up is in any way a cost cutting measure
