No one has confirmed it's not mistransformed yet, and looking at the G1 versions, Mixmaster was the simplest of them all. I can't fathom how making anything reversing that set up is in any way a cost cutting measure
True it hasn't been confirmed its not mistransformed but then why would it have a leg connection port on both ends? They wouldn't which would mean that the upper leg is simply balancing on Mixmaster...or maybe glued.
By turning Mixmaster upside down there is no need for a joint allowing the cab to fold over to form Devy's foot, therefore reducing the cost of the design.

I would assume nothing as fact based on a very blurry photo, especially when Mixmaster is the one we see least.
I attended the Hasbro booth and can clarify some points.
Devy consists of 6 parts with individual robot modes. He is nearly the same height as Metroplex. It's going to be a TRU exclusive and will be officially revealed at New York toy fair. He is very G1esque and looks great. The only thing that's kind of a bummer, is that the individual robots look a bit upscaled, like the upscaled cyberverse Beast Hunters deluxe figures.
But Devastator is an entirely new mold. He also has his own kind of combining ports as far as I could see.
With upscaled I mean that they look like they were meant to be deluxe sized. Imagine the Cyberverse figures from Prime Beast Hunters which were upscaled to be deluxe class
I can't tell for sure, but I think Devastator forearms are part of the individual bots.
I only got a rather quick view on the box, but there www no mention it to be a TRU exclusive.
The Constructicons reminded me on the botmodes of the 3rd party Hercules.

Don't care about scale or it being a stand alone toy. Could care less about scale when buying Transformers toys.
I'm in this Transformers hobby to buy high quality toys. Not prepared to buy inferior Transformers toys due to them scaling well next to other Transformers toys.
Mindmaster wrote:Not necessarily news, but there was a TFW2005 user who was there that clarified on some points. Also seen were First Aid and Streetwise, G1 Astrotrain/Blitzwing and Perceptor/Blaster reissues, and an RiD'15 Drift that deploys Minicons, which I will include in the appropriate threads.I attended the Hasbro booth and can clarify some points.

The fans are finally going to get a toy worthy of the character!
I am hoping that a recent comment about Mixmaster was incorrect and that he transforms, as he did back in G1, with his Cab section forming the foot. Its too soon to say with the blurry photos. From what we have seen its certainly worth the wait.

youre jumping the gun again. all we have right now is half a blurry devastator.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Think this Titan Devastator is HasTak's best work for 2015. It's a home run. I know he meant it tongue in cheek but there were a couple other "blessed individuals" who tend to be die-hard flag wavers at the "other" site. If I could I'd offer $5,000 for some pics just because and have big translucent Seibertron watermarks all over my videos just because I like poking people with a proverbial sharp stick.
I do have to admit I did crack up that people are taking paparazzi style pics of toys, that's where we are now in 2015. I think that's a testament to the popularity and quality of the designs.
I know this might sound crazy but seeing an enhanced version of the image led me to believe that perhaps that's actually a pic of Devastator since it's in front of a black background with the Transformers logo at the top, and in an "action" pose.
