I am SOOO glad I bought green giant instead... with the exception of height, this thing is HORRIBLE. The bodies and limbs are barely holding on an look like they can break over time and long haul is just down right awful. This is a TOTAL pass on my behalf.

How do they look like they're barely holding on? They seem pretty sturdy to me. And sure he Might break over time but so can anything, these are toys made out of plastic not steel. Also I'm tired of everyone comparing a $150 figure to a $400 figure. It's Apple's and oranges.

I don't know how some people can be so down on this release. I'm so HUNGRY for this Devastator. I'm just hoping we get a good look at Takara's version in advance of SDCC so I can decide which version I will invest in. Right now, it's looking like the Hasbro retail version, as the SDCC version doesn't interest me with the purple chrome on Mixmaster, the extra toy paint details, or the visorless look for the head sculpt. I'm expecting that Takara will hit a home run on this, though, and give us a visored head, or find a way to make both options possible, and touch up some of the paint details for more G1 screen accuracy, especially painting Devastator's hands purple.

Because not only was this post directed to a person, but to the toy and about the toy if I'm not mistaken, but I guess YOU felt "worked up" about it, so now I had to put you back in your place. I'm not some youngster on here with jolly ranchers in my mouth, so you felt the need to put your 2 cents into my post, so don't get worked up with me adding to yours. The term would be "comprehension", learn it 1st and THEN read my post again

Plus, you didn't answer the direct question, which wasn't about a comparison so much as a statement you made about it looking like the Titan Devastator components are "barely holding on" and "look like they will break over time. I am eager to see Devastator in my collection. Is he perfect? No. But he looks more playable than my Hercules. Now, is my wallet looking forward to getting this guy? Or my accountant?

On topic, though, is anyone else here like me and planning to get TWO Devastators? One to display in gestalt mode and another set to display in their individual bot modes? I tend to do the same when I can for any combiner team, though I can see how the redundancy could turn some people off. I regard the combined form as a separate entity from the individual team members, so I like to have a representation of ALL the different characters a team represents, the individuals and the gestalt.
