People are aware. Very aware.
Many people are very upset, it's surprising that you'd miss it.

I've had a couple of alternators that after a few years, I had to searched EVERYWHERE online to figure out how to transform them again. Even the youtube videos usually block something important.

As mentioned they are in HK. I did a ship check, $87 cheapest. I LOLed and now I'm sad they have my infoCobotron wrote:Cobotron wrote:CRAMY! I just noticed you posted Robotkingdom. I'm starting to lean in your direction, i.e. retail + add-ons.
Edit: Sorry, Sabr's post.
I noticed the rivets too. I'm wary, but the Prowlstator head and articulated fingers are worth it to me to just get the Hasbro version and that upgrade. Considering I'll get him from Amazon for just over $150 after tax (+free two-day shipping) I think I'll be pretty far off the Takara price and I'll have the figure in my hands soon!! Push comes to shove, if I'm not a fan I'll return it and pre-order the Takara.fenrir72 wrote:RK is HK basedCobotron wrote:CRAMY! I just noticed you posted Robotkingdom. Add ons, computed in total + shipping, wouldn't it be equivalent in total to the TT version. Anyway, preference do win in the end. I'm kind of scared at modifying the components since Hasbro usually uses those permanent rivets over the old phillips screw types of yesteryear.

I don't see an issue with it. Some people just seem intent on finding flaws with a damn good set of figures.

Dare I say... I pity those who don't know the meaning of "Good enough"?

eh, it's more a case of "to each their own". I acknowledge that people wanted more, paint apps, a bit of articulation, and other add-ons might make the figure look a bit better, but I'm just grateful to be able to even buy a Transformer.

New Gallery: SDCC 2015 Combiner Wars Devastator
Still unsure about Devastator? Still unsure about the bling the SDCC version is rockin'? Well check out our newest gallery to help you decide! (I have the retail version in hand and I must say it's worth the money, so while I can't say much about the chrome, I'd imagine if you're an SDCC junkie, this guy is perfect for you!)
Our galleries of the individual bots will be released over the weekend, so you'll have something to enjoy when you come home from your 4th of July celebrations, something that'll make you paw the screen and drool. (And probably open your wallets...c'mon, we only live once!)
Before we head onto the gallery, make note of the special edition packaging, chrome accents and G1 toy accurate paint apps used to match those of the sticker sheet that came with the original many moons ago. (You can see the original in our galleries by clicking right here.)
Without further ado, we proudly present 2015 San Diego Comic Con exclusive Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator!

Somehow it's acceptable for the officially licensed company to completely butcher Mixmaster like this and everyone is okay with that, yet they take a magnifying glass to every other figure. Not sure why this one deserves a pass. The criticism is fair.
Oh come on, we're in a golden age of Transformers, with half a dozen Devastators to choose from. That sort of quip would be more fitting for some sort of dark age where there's literally no alternatives to the Hasbro/TT Devastator, let alone some very G1-esque alternatives.

It's called having an opinion. I don't have a problem with Mixmaster. Just like I don't have a problem with a lot of their other figures.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. I'm obviously a very simple person with very simple tastes. Yet for some reason, people seem to set out to somehow convince me I'm wrong for thinking that way.
Or it could be I'm grateful to have a job and be able to afford them.
I mean really, my life could be a LOT worse off, I could be living under a bridge homeless. But nope, lucky me, I have a nice little townhouse filled with Transformers. So I'll go back to being grateful for being able to buy Transformers.
