Also, yes Cary, Disney did say that Episode 7 is only considering the movies as cannon.

Actually it's the movies, clone wars, rebels and all the current comic books and novels that follow those three.

This time 23 years ago I received my first Transformers toy, ever, for Hanukah - G2 Megatron! I was the king of 1st grade for like, 10 seconds.

As far as the CW Leader Megatrons, I like them. They do what they need to do, and I'm OK with that.

This time 23 years ago I received my first Transformers toy, ever, for Hanukah - G2 Megatron! I was the king of 1st grade for like, 10 seconds.

As far as the CW Leader Megatrons, I like them. They do what they need to do, and I'm OK with that.

I admit, other than wonky elbows, he could've been/totally is the leader megs; Personally rid megatronus has leader megs beat in all of my categories.

Well, to be fair, the hasbro one was really unpainted, and shockingly hollow/had really thin plastic (there is a difference, and I can defend the first but not the second); the joints even seemed to leave stress marks on the shoulders, like my windblade, in some reviews - not cool for a $150 figure; there was no detail picked out (a few hazard stripes on the mid-thighs would've went a long way towards helping this guy), and he's a little too big to do much with (metroplex's supposed to be a brick, devs, not necessarily) >:oP

As for Leader Megs, I would have bought him in a heartbeat if he were a voyager. As it stands, maybe when I have more space/money I'll get him and add him to the Megatron shrine I keep telling myself I'll make. He is pretty boss, regardless of scale issues, and that headsculpt is just perfect. Also WORKING TREADS.

I'm surprisingly disappointed in how Armada Megatron came out though. I dunno, maybe it's because of his proportions just not suiting the original design, maybe it's because he's a regular tank as opposed to the beetle-jawed H-tank of DOOM that I loved so much about the original brick...That said I am glad they made him simply on principle- Armada Megs is my favourite Megatron design ever next to the RID 2001 version and it's good to see him get some love.

I still think they should have done him as G2 Megatron as well though. Perhaps retool him to let his cannon peg into his shoulder? And why not redeco him again as Deluxe Megatron/Archforce while they're at it?

They have Devastator at my local TRU, I'll have a look on Boxing Day to see if they knock the price down a bit.

I preordered it from TrU at full price. Then, I paid and it was delivered. One month and a half later, TrU made a sale like 40% off for all TF worth 25$+ or something. They have a policy that if you still have the bill and they make a sale within 2 months, they WILL refund the difference. So I called, told my order # and got my partial refund. That way, Devy was SURE to be mine and I got it for cheap in the end.

I dunno if a boxing day sale can apply, but if you REALLY don't want to miss out, buy Devy now from TrU. Then gamble for a possible sale down the line. Keep your receipt for a possible partial refund.

No, I go to the same store he goes. 40% only applies to the full price. Its not 40% off whatever he bought it at. He simply wrote how much he saved instead of the total amount he paid.
