No, I go to the same store he goes. 40% only applies to the full price. Its not 40% off whatever he bought it at. He simply wrote how much he saved instead of the total amount he paid.

My memory was a bit fuzzy. Still a great price for Devy.

While this was written for the UW version, it is the same molding as Hasbro and thus it work for Hasbro's devy too. This is not in the instructions but it shows how to stabalize him best:

I kinda figured Hasbro Scrapper's wrist could do that, but I haven't had a chance to test yet. I found him to be stable enough without, I will try it the next time I combine him. A little extra heel spur never hurts though.

I already figured out Mixmaster's heel action. I can't remember if I even looked at the instructions or not to be honest. I found the bots to be pretty simple and the main event to be well thought out and intuitive enough that it all just made sense.

Anyone who has been waiting to nab one (or waiting on Tak's) will have a fun construction project on their hands.

Now I've got this guy in hand, I can safely say that I love it.

It's absolutely bonkers and wonderful. I can't believe there are people who don't like this set.

I spent a half hour playing around with it and laughing with sheer disbelief right out of the package.

HasTak hit it right out of the park with this guy and I love it. Thanks guys. :APPLAUSE:

Dont think anyone has gotten it from them yet if they picked the free shipping option (I checked around the net). They are busier this time of year and prioritize those who paid extra for priority shipping.

Also, just making sure here since I dont use them, do you have to confirm you want it shipped right away? Or is it usually shipped once it is in stock? At the place I got my devy I had to request it now be sent to me once it became in stock.

What they say in the emails is "we will begin processing them in the order in which they were proprdered" or something to that effect.

I do think they give priority to the customers who paid for shipping, but I don't know. Also, if you preordered in July, it shouldn't be too much longer. I preordered on the 12th, 3 days before they received their stock, so I imagine I may be waiting for a bit longer.

Thanks, I think, best I could get together without laying down third party money or paying jacked up evilbay prices for a henkei/united megs.

I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to scale. Although, it's that compulsion that forces me to use combiner wars windcharger, over my RTS windharger on my G1S1 shelf. So, double edged sword.

You brought up the point that Menasor is out of scale, which is odd because people usually say it's devastator that's wrong. But now you mention it? I actually think his scale works. Gestalts never seemed to be 1:1 size to their component parts. there was always a bit of inflation when they united in the show.

I liked the image and you have a great shelf and display!

But that is what I thought with looking at the display. I am not a stickler for scale, but it was interesting looking there how Devy seemed to fit better, and yeah inflation happens pretty much everytime we see a combiner, so that's why Devy looks better in scale compared to Menasor. Still though, combiners! :BOT:

Whilst I'm not a fan of HasTak's Devastator (though I will admit I was tempted by the UW version) I have to say, that is a superb display. If you can afford/find it though I'd recommend getting the Perfect Effect Scouting Force set for a proper Reflector trio. I don't own them myself but I've heard nothing but positive things about them. Plus they're certainly better than that little Targetmaster Reflector (who does admittedly make a neat camera accessory, even if his robot mode is dreadful and his weapon mode is floppy, weird looking and fragile).

Anyway, this is kind of a funny question, but is anyone else a fan of "extra"/non combining Constructicons? I fully intend to get some form of Devastator in the future (either Hercules or Gravity Builder) but I do own ROTF Rampage, Energon Steamhammer and PCC Sledge and Steamhammer (renamed Treadbolt in my collection) and I love 'em to bits. Once I've sorted out my collection a bit I kinda want to get ROTF Dirt Boss and Universe 2.0 Heavy Load too, along with the other Energon Constructicons, to have a Constructicon "Auxiliary Force/Support Team" to complement Devastator. But then I have a real fondness for the various weird and wonderful half-arsed attempts at Constructicons Hasbro has made over the years.
