What's your source on that? The word seems to be parsed as "Construct-Bots" every time it is written in plain text on Hasbro's official communiqués.
When asked about the pronunciation of "Construct-Bots" (the presenters spoke the line name aloud as "construct-a-bots"), they indicated that the Autobot and Decepticon symbols on the packaging act as an "a" sound.

At this year's BotCon, anytime someone, be it a fan or an employee, mentioned the line, they only ever called it "Constructabots" or "Constructibots" or even "Constructobots".Wolfman Jake wrote:Somehow, I don't think th t ide is going to c tch on. The problem with customizing the figures is you run the risk of them not being able to transform. It even says so on the instructions.
