The sad thing is this figure had potential, I mean the first stock photos aside the legs at least did the figure justice for a bit, but then you get a lack of a silver coating and now the comparisons and it really makes you question if they did it as a cheap way to push premium versions later.

On top of that how come they send this one with a card showing the legs to be bulky? I mean really Hasbro you could not make them like that? I really want to see Soundwave compared to HA Jazz.

Whoever decided to have one of his colors darkblue instead of darkgray or black should have his eyes checked #-o

And why does he have such a puny size? It's like he's suppossed to be a human alliance basic class toy without a weapons mode. On top of that it seems like Laserbeak was given a targetmaster mode to compensate for soundwave's size? :evil:

Dump these mangled soundwave toys into a garbage compactor and get him back to the drawing board. #-o

Just for giggles, scale between Barricade, Soundwave, and Bumblebee.

Compared to those two, Soundwave is supposed to be on the small side.

SMH!!!!!!!!!!!! I just don't get it. Why is it soooo damn impossible for us to get a movie-accurate DOTM Soundwave figure?? I'm pretty sure Hasbro and Takara are both aware of the fact that Soundwave is a big favourite with the Transformers fans across the world, plus they know how much we value accuracy - so why can't they just make an effort to make this figure as awesome as possible??

Hell, i can live with the grey plastic - but what the hell is all that blue doing all over it - on the Human Alliance AND Deluxe version?? What's that horrible squiggly yellow line on his chest supposed to represent?? What's with all that black in his face?? None of that paint makes any sense at all! And couldn't they fix it so that the wheels on his shoulders/back (as shown in the actual movie and on that card in the box) don't just look like some flappy random plastic on top of his arms??

God damn. I'm so mad and disappointed in the way both HA and Deluxe versions look. This figure could've been soooo much better.

And correct me if i'm wrong, but in THIS pic, the toy sports a silver-grey shine, NOT this crappy new beige-grey we now have to put up with!!! WHYYYYYY????

Maaaaan, i really wish they would give us a more detailed Leader Class version...SMH!!!
