So you have 2 DVD's of Energon?
Energon was very much like Armada, the opening 15 episodes are utter utter trash.
However Energon picked up into somewhat decent stuff after about episode 15 (Armada picked up about episode 40).
But as Skullgrin said, the Superlink series is superior, the storyline makes more sense, the characters are more consistent, and you dont have to deal with Ironhide's voice actor.

And u know what? i Didnt mind Armada so much. i thought it would be MUCH worse. I was suprised to say the least.
Still, my favourites are BW's and Some of the Japanese ones. Oh and ofcourse G1

10 x 0 is still 0... But since I have not watched Superlink, how could I after suffering through Energon, and its inconsistancies, and oddities, and voice acting... anyway, I wanted to stay as far away as possible.

I actually want to say this. The Unicron Trilogy could and should have been the next Beast wars, despite them being anime and even though Armada was constantly plauged by bad animation in one or two scenes and then went back to 100% animation.
most notably this picture I just love.

not to mention the constant reuse of the original TF intro in there own way "Robots in disguise" which dosnt actually strike as good or smart, the japanese intros of the shows were always better and were kinda cool to listen too.
plus the characters in english shouting "Transform" every 10 seconds the minute they change shape, just kinda sucked really. Also in Cybertron when they were talking about some random stuff when there transforming into and from there forms just was pathetic.
In Energon I just wish it was more Beast wars in it, despite Kicker, and Ironhide, also 1 or 2 childish things. Still, I would have rather had Alpha-Q being displayed in the Japanese way, having the fith unseen face like a little girl instead of 5 voices talking at the same time.
I actually want to know why everytime when ever there is TF show of anykind, it always ends up being dubbed by the Ocean group in Canada. I love the Ocean group, because it was them, who voiced in Beast Wars/Machines which made them most memorable. I just wish that a change of VA was needed in the trilogy, because I never liked David Kaye voicing Megatron in the trilogy. I wanted David Sobolov!
Before anyone goes beating me over the head with over there own views of which is best, I just want to note that Bob Forward, Larry Ditillio and, hell. Even Bob Skir & Marty Isenburg...could have wrote great scripts for this trilogy and made these shows amazing, Because bad voices, Bad SFX's, Bad Scripts and a terrible voice Director is what I think made this trilogy suck the minute Armada came on the air.
Bottom line...The trilogy had so much potential, that it was all blown. Badly.
