The fact that they are packaged as a giftset I would assume.

Oh, so the regular retail release will be individually-packaged figures?
GuyIncognito wrote:If they're packaging them individually, then I will DEFINITELY get either this giftset or the SDCC one. I have a feeling it won't be easy to walk into a Walmart or TRU and find all five figures in stock, and I don't want to have to hunt all over town or keeping going back to the stores over and over. How much you wanna bet Onslaught will be hard to find? The scalpers will probably swoop into the stores and buy all the Onslaughts so that everyone has to come to them to complete the set.

I think they're also slit among the waves.

UK fan site Full Metal Hero is reporting that Amazon will also have an exclusive giftset featuring the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons in the bright colors that were originally revealed. This set is apparently slated for release in October.

Actually, no. For the first time, Hasbro heard our cries. All five come in a wave, 1 per, with other single packed FOC figures to round out the 8 figure case.

Which is exactly why I'll be buying a Wave 2 case from BigBad.
El Duque wrote:Oh really? That's good news I guess. I've pretty much lost interest in these. I'll get them eventually just for the individual modes, but I don't see me displaying them combined.
