Well there's windblade's series, it's a start. Personally I don't think there needs to be one full of either. Gender shouldn't matter. Characters should not be defined by what gender they were given.

A mix is great, as long as the story isn't forced because of it. After all these are still children's toys at the end of the day.

well it's because I never said that dragstrip looked like a woman, I said it's be cool if the character were a woman like in the Stunti-con job, (Despite the fact it'd go against IDW lore).

Exactly none of these can be fembots as they are already established in IDW lore which combiner wars seems to be following pretty well. Leads me to be let that hasbro and IDW had a good partnership on this.

(I suspect IDW being bought out in the future by hasbro.)

No, but it's not saying there might not be an odd figure or two from MTMTE or the other series, hell last time I checked the entirety of the protectibots were on the lost light, and rumor has It that they'll be in the 2015 line up.

Again sorta off topic, I know this is a bit of objectification, buuut it's toys; it'd be cute if they gave us a new face plated fembot character. I dunno, something about the MTMTE art style and expression has made face plated characters pretty damn adorable of late.

To be fair, female Rung may only be female because she's part of an alternate timeline being established/overwriting the current timeline, via Brainstorm's time travel. In the "regular" IDW timeline, females do exist naturally as they evolved that way on Caminus. Who's to say that in this alternate timeline that female Rung (and other potential females) didn't evolve that way on Cybertron?

It's left ambiguous at worse, but tailgate's a "dude" for lack of a better term, or well can be viewed as more characteristically male than female.

As much as I like that Motormaster, part of me misses the trailer. Even moreso than on Optimus. I wonder if a 3rd party trailer for these figures will show up.

Tell me about it I just kind of wished they gave him some sort over the shoulder missile pods. But over all he looks pretty cool.

As I said in the news I posted yesterday, the listings were removed from Amazon.

I saw that but when the Legends figures showed up I got hopeful. FYI even when searching for their complete names the Legends figures don't show up. If history serves right American Collectibles will have pre-orders up that horribly overpriced and with a date that's later than any other retail establishment.
