"Slowly"? Which Generations toyline have you been buying? Deluxe Megatron, deluxe Orion Pax, deluxe Bumblebee, deluxe Armada Starscream, every other toy that came with a comic book, everything from Combiner Wars...
For two full years, and with the exception of the AOE stuff, Generations has been IDW this and IDWS that (which, as someone who has no interest in the comic books, is both confusing and boring), to the extent it might as well be called Transformers: IDW in Plastic.
I would even add that a lot of idw character models are also based on toys that have preceded the generations line. Universe Sunstreaker has retroactively become IDW Sunstreaker.
Until Sunstreaker comes out in the middle to latter part of the year from the Breakdown mold. Making Universe Sunstreaker obsolete.

If we did get non-combining toys outside of Leader and Legends, they'd most likely be exclusives, and be in generic packaging, effectively putting them in the 2014 line like the Legions and Protectobot sets.
And we don't know any details about Prowl, Ironhide, Sunstreaker and Mirage. That includes molds used and exclusivity.

They were found listed in Walmart's inventory. Walmart rarely gets exclusives for non movie toy lines. I cannot remember one from he Generations toy line at all. I wager they are normal releases.

No, Ironhide, Mirage, Prowl, and Sunstreaker have all been cited in store listings.

They are combiner limbs for Ultra Prime, so they are still part of Combiner Wars.

Any official confirmation, or is it just speculation?
Nice to see I'm not the only one. It looks almost like a 1-step figure. And here I thought Jetfire was bad...Madeus Prime wrote:Uh...I know I'm gonna regret saying this but he looks like crap. He's badly proportioned, he appears to have little outward movement in the hips and shoulders, his gun looks like crap, he's almost too G1 looking for my taste (IDW Megatron is bulky and badass). Until we get better in-hand pics with some dynamic poses, he's going to be an easy skip for me.

We still don't know what molds they'll use. And aside from the Asian and US TRU Exclusive GDO series, there was only one "Generations"-branded exclusive: the Ultimate Gift Set with Combat Hero Optimus Prime

No official confirmation but an insider confirmed it with Chuck. He wrote about it earlier in this thread. And it makes perfect sense too. But technically, Leader Megatron and Thundercracker are generetions figures that are not made to combine with others and are coming out this year (and maybe leader Magnus too). So I would count those as 2015 generations figures that are not necessarily involved with combiner wars (aside from a card heading).

I could see them being combiner limbs for Prime, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that will be the case. Of course, they would serve that function regardless because of the molds, but as far as I'm concerned, at least in Ironhide and Sunstreakers case, it is a superior mold to what we have from Universe.

Syn_13 wrote:Holy crap, I forgot about the Leader Magnus rumour! I really do hope it happens, and that he isn't just a Prime retool. That guy seriously deserves his own mould (other than MP) and Leader scale is perfect for him. If the rumour is true it would surely be a new mould. I can't think of any other Leader figure they would retool, and I doubt they'd just do an upscaled Prime/Motormaster mould. That mould is designed for combining and the Leader figure just wouldn't be part of that, much like Leader Megs and Thundercracker look to be seperate from the combining gimmick.

I had had this thought. What if UM was CW voyager Prime with a trailer that breaks apart into legs, arms, etc, and utilizes the combiner ports to become UM?
I hope I'm wrong. That would be 4 uses of the voyager mold.
UM deserves his own mold.

Shockwave7 wrote:Leader Megs (G1 deco) looks pretty neat. Legs are a big small compared to the rest of the body, but I can live with that. Armada version? Major pass on that one. But I haven't seen any images of this figure in ALT mode. Are there any? I need to know what that looks like to make a real decision.
I also add the disclaimer that I know Hasbro photoshops the living h#(( out of these images to make them look neater/shinier/better painted than they really are once you see them in store....
